Holy frijoles, there is it in black and white: the ATF traces on the guns used to murder Customs and Border Protection Agent Brian Terry. They reveal unequivocally that the ATF met the enemy and it was them. Click here for the actual trace data report sheets and Senator Grassleys response to the ATF and Department of Justices stonewalling. Even for those of us whove been following this story, Senator Grassleys letter is, well, shocking. The ATF had been tracking [suspected murderer Jaime] Avilas firearms purchases because Avila was a suspected trafficker since at least November 2009. According to whistleblowers, at least one gun dealer wanted to stop participating in sales like those to Avila sometime around October 2009. However . . .
the ATF allegedly encouraged the dealer to continue selling to suspected traffickers and asked the dealer to forward information about the sale to the Bureau . . .
In addition to these specific weapons, the indictment of Avila and others references approximately 769 firearms. Of those, the indictment refers to the recovery of only about 103 weapons. So, where are theother approximately 666 weapons referenced in the indictment?
Id point out how spooky that number is, but the truth is that the ATF-enabled weapons have been usedwill be usedto murder innocent people. Grassleys letter slams the DOJ for stonewalling and accusing the Senator of politicking. It concludes with an email from Agent Terrys mother, which I will publish separately.
Some data points from the docs.
- The guns recovered from the crime scene, the weapons used to kill Agent Terry were two of three WASR-10s sold by Arizonas Lone Wolf Trading gun dealer to one Jaime Avila. [page 16]
- Avila also purchased five FN FiveseveN pistols from Lone Wolf on one occasion [page 5] and further three pistols on another [page 9]
- Avila also purchased two .50 caliber Barrett rifles, sold by Scottsdale Gun Club. If I may say, holy shit. [page 18]
- The inclusion of two documents indicating delayed trace requestissued by the ATF to the Department of Justicesuggests that the ATF initially engaged in a cover-up of the murder weapons source. [page 23]
Chuck Grassley better stay out of Fort Marcy Park, and avoid canoe trips on the Potomac.
...and get the anti-freeze in his car checked to make sure it’s not the self-igniting kind...
David Koresh was a licensed federal firearms dealer, who "had a stockpile" of weapons. Now why would a person with a firearms dealer's license not have an inventory of weapons? That's like being concerned that a cheese store has cheese in it..............
We have a criminal government.
But the real problems are the “gun show loophole,” “high” capacity magazines,” and the right of law abiding citizens to purchase firearms. The solution, of course, is to restrict our rights and give the fedgov and BATFE more power. /typical libscum donk
There are plenty of criminals out there. Catch them in a responsible manner.
Thanks for posting. BTTT!
Do you have ANY cheese in this chees shop?

This has been coming a long time on BATF. They need to go back to doing their original purposes. Maybe Grassley can expose enough to get and keep the ball rolling.
On the whole, with all the clamity coming to a head with this herd of fools at nobama/soros administration, maybe, just maybe many things will come out of the wash better for the USA.
This white guilt scam has reached its peak and can only go downhill. I can see the distinct possibility that nobama will either just give up and run or the Generals will visit him with an “offer” of protective custody or exile. When you’re making history (1st black Prez) don’t stop there, really make history with 1st exile.
There are many more links on Freerepublic if you do a keyword search for gunwalker.

From the Grassley letter:
"After the shooting of CBP Agent Terry, law enforcement officials recovered from the scene two assault rifles. On December 16, 2010, ATF's trace results confirmed that serial numbers 1983AH3977 and 1971CZ3755 match two of the three rifles purchased by Avila and tracked by the ATF nearly a year earlier. In addition to these specific weapons, the indictment of Avila and other reference approximately 769 firearms. Of those, the indictment refers to the recovery of only about 103 weapons. So, where are the other approximately 666 weapons referenced in the indictment?"
Customer: Is this a cheese shop or isn’t it.
Owner: Finest in the county, sir.
Customer: By what logic do you make that claim?
Owner: Well, it’s very clean.
Customer: Well is certainly isn’t contaminated by cheese.
great skit Those guys were brilliant. It's funny how little text you need from many of them to bring them right back to you.
"This is and ex-parrot!"
Several years back, in our Christmas musical at my church, the choir was doing a production that involved a Christmas shopping rush scene in a department store, and I played the part of a hapless and harried shopper looking for the return department. The director asked me what I had in mind for a prop as I was trying desperately to find the return department. I told him I had it figured out and would take care of it. So I went to a hobby shop and a pet store to get my props and at the dress rehearsal for the big scene with an empty bird cage in one hand and a big “dead” parrot in my other hand.
