Sarah will never be so careless as to call for a “truce” on social issues. She is wise enough to prioritize our Nation’s problems and gay marriage isn’t at the top.

She has made it VERY, VERY clear that she will not and does not support marriage defined as anything other than between a man and a woman.

The rest is chatter in a nation that is on the verge bankruptcy. She is right to focus on jobs, debt, government expansion and terrorism.

Difference between Daniels and Palin, no ONE questions Palin’s social conservatism. She lives her Christian values.

There are millions of people in America who live Christian values in their own lives and who oppose gay marriage. I agree that Sarah Palin is in that category.

If that's enough for you, fine. It does not seem to be enough for a large segment of Freepers. They are the ones who are going to produce the skull shrapnel.

Sarah Palin is a Constitutionalist but also a libertarian and a social conservative.

Her social conservative credentials are impeccable because of her pro-life stance and her personal relationship with Christ.

She is a libertarian in terms of the 2nd amendment and said on Napolitano’s inaugural program on Fox that she feels the police have more important things to do with their time and resources than raiding houses where adults are smoking pot in the privacy of their own home. And during the debate on Oct 2/2008 she mentioned that with regards to gay rights she takes the same approach, that adults have a right to enter into different relationships regardless that she would not enter into the same relationships herself.

And finally Sarah would follow the Constitution and I know some pro-lifers don’t want to hear this but the availability or non-availability of abortion should reside in the 10th amendment to the Constitution being under the jurisdiction of each state to decide for itself. And some folks on our side oppose Palin simply because they want abortion banned across the board regardless of what the Constitution says.

Well, that and the fact that Daniels never quit his elected position.

Gay Marriage isn't even at the top of the "homosexual agenda", if there is such a thing.

I certainly am after she embraced GOProud being a part of CPAC. And, let's keep in mind, Palin's first veto as governor was of a bill that would block state benefits to partners of homosexuals. She has no problem with the morning-after pill being legal and supports taxpayer funding for abortion in the cases of rape.

Combine that with her miserable approval numbers and poll numbers against Obama, I'll definitely take Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain or Jim DeMint over her.
