Keene steps down as American Conservative Union Chairman the night before CPAC
Daily Caller ^ | 2-9-11 | Steve Nelson

Posted on 02/09/2011 7:20:02 PM PST by STARWISE

David Keene, the longtime chairman of the American Conservative Union, stepped down on Wednesday as the leader of the organization, one day ahead of the first of its annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

Keene had chaired the organization since 1984 and will still preside over the annual conservative gathering. His impending exit had been anticipated, but not the timing.

Al Cardenas was selected to succeed Keene. Cardenas was born in Cuba in 1948, and has been a player in conservative politics since the Reagan presidency.

“I look forward to taking advantage of the new energies we see today in the conservative movement to make this storied organization even more influential in the future” said Cardenas in a press release.

Gays might be trivial but the gay agenda involves shoving their deviancy down the throats of schoolkids.

Yep, if they kept it in their bedrooms (yuk!) I don't think most would bother them. And that is even though they are huge disease manufacturers and carriers with their dirty, dirty habits and tend to seduce the unsuspecting young into their disgusting sinful life style. If they kept multiplying through recruitment and promotion that would mean the human race may diminish drastically because of lack of multiplication and the spread of disease. Bad enough but they demand that society on the whole not only legitimize their evil ways but lift them up with all kinds of special rights and privileges. All of this and much, much more means that they are not a trivial problem at all.

Excellent post! And also the sin itself brings in the judgment of The LORD upon a people that is practicing and promoting it. If someone doesn’t believe it all they would need to do is ask Sodom and Gomorrah except one thing which is that they no longer exist.

I’m thinking Keene’s stepping down had more to do with the embezzlement.

Completely agree.

And his replacement doesn't seem to be much better.

CPAC is dead to me now.
Homosexuals, etc have infiltrated the group and now we hear Trump is now going to be there, what utter crap, since when is he a conservative just like the homosexual proud group who are really the log cabins but changed their name when they were busted for being Dem voters.

conservatism is socially and fiscal we don’t pick and choose which to be liberal with and then claim you’re a conservative.

would the liberal groups accept AFA at their convention?

no because they would have the guts to say no you’re not liberal and they have more balls than these jokers who claim to be conservative.

Limits on the bedroom thing go both ways. They want recognition of what they do in the bedroom.

****

That is exactly what really gets under my skin.

A mother and son, or any other combination of two people, can share a home but not ‘special’ benefits. Why do two people who spent years telling others to stay out of their bedrooms now demand special privileges, reserved for married couples, because of what they do in their bedrooms.

conservatism is socially and fiscal, if one is liberal on marriage, abortion and other social issues then they’re not conservative and should not be at the convention.

Libertarians are liberal on marriage.
liberals are liberal on marriage.
conservatives are conservative and traditional on marriage.

not really hard is it for anyone to understand is it?

hang on what are you on about?

it’s not in their bedroom, that’s a liberal homosexual cop out, it is about marriage, adoption, sex in public, teaching fisting in te schools,. forcing marines to have showers who other men who might be turned on to them etc.

nothing to do with their bedroom and it has everything to do to force their sick perverted agenda on to us,

read this if you get a chance

fox will push this as the big conservative convention which has all the major conservatives there which is not true.

CPAC either needs to change to getting back to be conservative or they’re dead to me.
