O’Reilly is an arrogant, rude, pompous ass who consistently interrupts his interviewee. He asks a question and about halfway into the answer, cuts off the speaker and fires another question. The implication is that Bill is so smart and his time so valuable that he quickly grasps and completely understands the point or information the speaker is trying to convey.

I saw this type of boorish behavior creep into the Army culture a few years back. Generals and Colonels (wannabe generals) would be receiving a briefing. Midway through a subordinate’s discussion of a briefing slide the General would pronounce “Got it” and expect the next slide to be put up. But I guess this can be expected from the type of Major General who refer to himself in the third person as “the Two Star”.

Uh, it is called stopping a filibuster answer and/or realizing the speaker doesn’t have a clue what they are talking about and/or wasting everyone’s time.

I guess you would rather spend 20 minutes listening to a single bloviating meaningless answer or speech or watch a meaningless overhead and as a result not get a chance to either ask another question or more on to something more substantive or better yet get to the real heart of a problem.

Ok. I got it. Lots of people like that in the world.

PS. I bet you like Larry King style interviews. YOu know, ask hard hitting questions like “how are you handling the pressure of the job” and then sitting with hands on chin waiting for the end of a 10 minute meaningless answer...

IMHO Hannity should have done the interview, I thought it was mostly softball questions that only help the guy Barry.No doubt Bill O will give another such interview just prior to the 2012 election.

It only helps Barry, that`s all it does. Bill O is tougher on Sarah Palin then he is on Zero.

When is someone going to ask about his missing/sealed school records? OK fine, they feel they cant ask about Birth stuff, then why not missing school records? Lets here more about the lost years on coke etc, why is he fighting release of his school records? How can he call himself a Christian while supporting/celebrating infanticide?

Does he not believe in any Scriptures? That`s the type of questions I have for him

I liked that Dennis semi ripped B’OR last night for being soft on BO.
I finally watched a rerun of the No Spin show last night.
You would have thought he interviewed the Pope, the way he was waxing on about how great he was. Billie praising himself for a stupid ten minute audience with The Usurper in Chief. I’m shocked! :-)

Not only does he interrupt but have you noticed how he ends the interviews with his own brilliant one sentence summaries, without giving the interviewee a chance to respond? It’s like Subliminal Man from SNL.

I’ll watch Olbermann talk about sports replays but when it comes to politics he doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about.
