Dems: Thomas should recuse himself

Seventy-four House Democrats are asking Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from any health care reform cases, citing reports that his wife financially benefited from efforts to repeal the legislation.
The members, led by Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), ask that he “maintain the integrity of this court.”

The move comes after Republicans have floated similar concerns about the impartiality of Justice Elena Kagan, who was solicitor general during the health debate.

Justice Thomas will tell them to FOAD... but in a much nicer way than I have.

Justice Thomas should remind Senate Democrats of separation of powers, tell them to go pound sand and if they don’t like his attitude then they should initiate impeachment proceedings for all to see.

Everyone will benefit financially from repeal of the heath care law. So if that’s their yardstick, they all have to recuse themselves and we can just stick with the lower court ruling. :D
Then shouldn’t Ginsburg recuse herself from the AZ employer sanctions and SB1070 cases, since the ACLU sued AZ, and she was lead counsel for the ACLU? Of course not. Neither should Thomas. But Kagan’s case is different...she was U.S. SOLICITOR GENERAL and ARGUED these cases OFFICIALLY.
