The people who are cheerleading immediate democracy in Egypt don’t recall the lesson learned in Gaza, Senate Intelligence Committee chair Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) warned MSNBC this morning. Feinstein warned of “fundamentalist Islamic sects” taking control of Egypt in the present chaos and told Andrea Mitchell that “we don’t understand the ebb and flow” of politics in the Middle East, and that simply demanding elections in an environment as unstable as Egypt’s at the present could lead to some very undemocratic long-term outcomes (from The Blaze):

IMO, there’s an even greater crisis at every level of government in this country. Wonder if DiFi realizes that? She’s responsible for that crisis with her twins Pelosi and Boxer and their Liberal RAT cohorts.

Sorry but Feinstein is not a stupid woman. I may disagree with her about everything but that doesn’t make her stupid. She does however profit from having Barbara Boxer as the other Kalif Senator. Sling Blade was a genius compared to Barbie.
Imagine being a wallstreet analyst launching an IPO or conducting a major merger and showing up to close the deal claiming you have no idea what is really going on?
How long does one get to keep their job when they clearly have no grasp on the scope of it's duties and responsibilities?

Wonder if Obama will berate Sen Feinstein for this statement? Obama will probably say: “What does that old krone know?” How dare she say I don’t understand the crisis in Egypt?”
Feinstein does get it right occasionally. She came out like a pit bull a couple of years ago when the dims were holding up military appropriations for some reason. (IIRC) She was outraged (seemingly). It’s a jolt when she is correct because she’s so wrong on so much...

Exactly right. Feinstein is very liberal, but not stupid, and I don’t think she even hates the country. Sort of like Juan Williams in that respect.
