Sarah had to support his re-election campaign in Arizona. Loyalty, you know. Every politician does it. They have to or they're finished. That's the way it works. The press will fry you if you don't.

I always suspected McCain would not support Sarah Palin.

Palin is obviously not too bright to have figured this out....she supported a treasonous pro-Illegal/Anti-American like McCain, over a Conservative American JD Hayworth, in the AZ senate race. All the while...McCain’s corpulent daughter and booze-slinger wife were trashing McCain

I just wonder HOW PALIN SUPPORTERS ARE GOING TO SPIN THIS ONE. What lame excuses will be made....like the ones made for Sarah supporting McCain over Hayworth

Also, this will pretty much kill any chance Palin has in becoming President. Both the liberal and GOP Media will use the “McCain won’t even support her” line every time Palin is mentioned

It would be a waste to support Sarah Palin for president

The headline the author chose is intentionally misleading; he could just as easily titled the piece “Sen. John McCain will not back Elton John for president” or “Sen. John McCain will not back Lady Gaga for president”...

Its just part of the deal he cut with zero in his visit behind closed doors. He promised to not back Palin if she runs. I don’t know this for sure, but, it fits the timing of his announcement. He’ll probably campaign for zero.

Palin in my view is not nominatable or electable either. But I will vote for her if she is the nominee, but she has no chance.

Actually, this is good news!

McShame SHOULD stay out of the next election cycle — in fact, the best gift he could bequeath America is to resign his Senate seat and go contemplate the Arizona desert, never to be heard FRom again!

Let me know when the snow has melted in Cheshire County ... I hope Palin has a team in place before the summer.

If you read the article, it is even worse, he isn’t going to support ANY GOP candidates in 2012.

McManiac was promised something really BIG in that extremely odd meeting with Obama. In return, he's promised to be neutral in the presidential race and not to attack the Usurper in any way.

His first step is to announce he's not endorsing anyone so that he can get out of endorsing Sarah as a return favor.

This is another way Obama can undercut Palin......through McCain.....and McCain is assisting this strategery.

We will watch other subtle McCain/Obama steps unfold, believe me.

Senators sit for 6 years. If Obama wins re-election, John will get what his heart desires.

We don't know right now what it is, but it's interesting to speculate. There's something John wants very much.

He is machiavellian and ambitious. Don't underestimate him....and analyze every move he makes in the coming months.

As an aside, I bet every single potential GOP candidate is breathing an inner sigh of relief that the cewwpy Arizona lizard is ostensibly not endorsing anyone.

Actually, this is good news if you’re a Palin supporter. The last thing she needs is this albatross around her neck.

Not worse—better.

I wouldn’t vote for anyone he supports.

"I bet you Barry will nominate him for Secretary of Defense."

I was thinking along the same lines. However, by then, McCain will probably be in a hospital padded cell somewhere catching flies and eating them.

Yeah, I guess. I’m still scratching my head over that one too. I’m from Illinois, Satan tells people how to vote in my state!
