You may have noticed that Chrysler released the longest ad in Super Bowl history on Sunday night, featuring the new Chrysler 200 driven by Detroit native rap star Eminem, an ad that CEO Sergio Marchionne says cost less than $9 million. But given that the company's CEO also announced this past week that is seeking a "better deal" on government loans, it is likely that this ad had more to do with getting political support than selling cars. Besides, is spending millions on a Super Bowl ad appropriate for a company that received a taxpayer bailout to recover from a bankruptcy?

Of course not. It was a payoff to union thug buddies of the DemonRats, the same blue-colloar rif-raf that keep these communists in power decade after decade! Detroit is Dreseden after the raid. I lived there and worked there. I think that entitles me to say so!
Our tax dollars at work!
Fox couldn’t care less. It’s just $9 million in their pockets.
Hey, lighten-up. M&M needed the money. All taxpayers support him in his pursuit of providing his type of “entertainment”.
Is Chrysler selling new vehicles? I have not seen a new Dodge truck in North Dakota in over a year.
If I lighten up, Obama will trade away more of this country.
This is the same Chrysler who’s employees were found smoking dope and drinking alcohol during they’re coffee break.
Its No wonder Chrysler sells such crappy cars.
A few Dodge trucks on the new truck lot here in Rapid City.
It is easy and painless to spend other people’s money.

All the ad did was reinforce that Detroit is a $hithole.
A wise woman once said, even with all the nice-sounding ideals of it, ‘the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money’.
I know what to replace the Obamacare Mandate with. All Government employees and Union Members must be mandated to buy Volts at full retail. In addition they all must be taken off the power grid and mandated to power their homes on Solar and windmill only. They must not ever have any salt and no meat. Each Government employee must take at least one minority or gay homeless person in to the family and fully support them. We could call it Commiecare.
The subject of the ad, the model 200 sedan, is just a Sebring with a new grille. They should have saved the $2M to pay people to buy it. Other than rental fleets, that car isn’t going to sell.
You've pulled off the rare double-screwup. Seriously - this stuff isn't that difficult.
This is the same Chrysler whose employees were found smoking dope and drinking alcohol during their coffee break.
See how easy that was? Just remember that "who's" means "who is" and "they're" means "they are." If you read your sentence that way, it makes no sense at all.
The best thing that could happen to Detroit is to put a match to it.
There’s a lot of good people here in the metro Detroit area trying make this $hithole a better place. I don’t agree with the bailouts for Chrylser or GM, don’t think bonuses should be paid out to workers from an unprofitable company and I question the amount spent on the ad.
But the “$hithole” comments don’t make it any easier for us here. It’s okay to have an opinion, but I live here and it’s not entirely the “Shithole” you and caver make it out to be.
Not a comment Reagan would ever make.
