How we went from Reagan to The mudsucker we have now in 30 years is beyond me.
RIP Ronald Reagan......the right man at the right time.

I’m glad I decided to watch it. Sinese was awesome, as usual. He nailed it when it comes to President Reagan. Looking forward to the Beach Boys. One of President Reagan’s favorite bands.

Not this event, obviously. I was referring to the DC crowd.

It’s been on for an hour now. They had preliminary music with Amy Grant, march-on of the Colors, invocation by John Danforth, intro of distinguished guests (VP Cheney looks great), laying of the wreath by Marines and a Marine general, 21-gun salute done by some small cannons and then the remarks by Gary Sinise, who did a great job in marveling that Reagan had such a full life and went from being an actor to president.

I just can't imagine having this type of 100 year birthday celebration for any other President. Fortunately a lot of Reagan Admin people are still out and about to keep his memory alive and to set the record straight on his successes.

I hate that some people tuning in late also missed Nancy placing the wreath and speaking for a few moments.
