Sarah Palin blasted the Obama administration's handling of the Egypt crisis on Saturday in an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network.
"This is that 3 a.m. White House phone call, and it seems for many of us trying to get that information from our leader in the White House, it seems that that call went right to the answering machine."
Palin's reference to a 3 a.m. phone call referred to the 2008 bruising primary battle between now-President Obama and now-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over responsiveness to unexpected foreign policy crises.
In the CBN interview, which was conducted Friday immediately following Palin's speech in honor of President Ronald Reagan's 100 birthday but aired Saturday night, the former Alaska governor questioned who might lead Egypt after President Hosni Mubarak if he were to resign.

I wish she would tell us what she would do if she was President. That seems much better than bashing Obama which is like kicking a dead dog.
I wasn’t aware that she had declared her candidacy. When did that occur?
Unfortunately, I don’t yet see obammy as a “dead dog”.
she already did say what she would do....
If the USA would have started drilling 10 years ago, we could now tell the muslims to kiss our collective ass. Now we have become so addicted to their oil that we have to roll in the mud and kiss their feet to keep production up.
Makes you wonder where the greens get their funding?
If you would listen you would learn what she would do
bashing Obama which is like kicking a dead dog
Not exactly, the dead dog still has the power, and he is using it to destroy the US any way he can.
I'd have to see him for myself with a stake of holly through his heart.
I guess you didnt read her reply....she said that it’s not wise to pick sides like wonderboy Obammy did without verifying who is behind these people pushing for democracy- our interest is not to have Islamists taking over and the O Adminstration better have good foreign intelligence to divide who are the real players instead of rushing to fix something that would harm our influence in the region
Sarah Palin: Remember, President Reagan lived that mantra trust but verify. We want to be able to trust those who are screaming for democracy there in Egypt, that it is a true sincere desire for freedoms and the challenge that we have though, is how do we verify what it is that we are being told, what it is that the American public are being fed via media, via the protestors, via the government there in Egypt in order for us to really have some sound information to make wise decisions on what our position is.
Trust but verify, and try to understand is what I would hope our leaders are engaged in right now. Whos going to fill the void? Mubarak, hes gone, one way or the other you know, he is not going to be the leader of Egypt, that thats a given, so now the information needs to be gathered and understood as to who it will be that fills now the void in the government. Is it going to be the Muslim Brotherhood? We should not stand for that, or with that or by that. Any radical Islamists, no that is not who we should be supporting and standing by, so we need to find out who was behind all of the turmoil and the revolt and the protests so that good decisions can be made in terms of who we will stand by and support.
-Sarah Palin
As always, she will be proven right in the end.
When I think back to the Bush-Gore campaign and during a debate W said “We’d better get after it” ... he was talking about ANWR. I still get upset. He had both houses of Congress and yet drilling seemed to be put on the back burner. Even after 911 when it was even more obvious how bad we need it. And what happened? We got a muslim who won’t allow drilling anywhere.
I’ve changed my prayer for this nation. I now ask that God do whatever He has already decided to do. Personally, I believe this nation has turned it’s back on God and we will not survive.
Obama is far from a dead dog, and he is going to be re-elected unless the GOP candidate methodically takes him and his works apart.
Now, other than Mrs. Palin, which GOP wannabee is consistently criticizing Obama?
For that matter, which GOP wannabee has uttered ONE SINGLE WORD against Obama?
There is only one candidate who is seriously in opposition to the destruction of the nation. Only one.
And you know who that is, don't you?
We should never have stopped drilling.
Is it going to be the Muslim Brotherhood? We should not stand for that, or with that or by that. ............................................... That is golden if she didn’t use a teleprompter. Palin could be the beacon of Liberty to all those women in the Muslim world. The more I listen to her, the more I support her. She could be beyond a Margaret Thatcher. Its no wonder they hate her as they do. I say, Run Palin, and lets roll the dice.
