On February 9, the Let’s Move! anniversary, the First Lady will deliver a major address focused specifically on the campaign’s efforts to meet the needs of parents. Mrs. Obama will reach out to parents to commend them for the impact they have had on fundamentally shifting the conversation on childhood obesity this year. In a speech hosted by North Point Community Church and Ray of Hope Christian Church at North Point’s congregation in Alpharetta, Georgia, Mrs. Obama will share personal reflections about how she came to this issue, discuss the issues parents deal with, and what has been achieved together.

I attend North Point Community Church. I am a conservative Republican Business Executive and Global IT thought leader.
I am appalled that the church is hosting this event as Mrs. Obama represents a majority of what I stand against. I am not sure how this event came about. It seems very odd to me as I believe most in the Church algin with the Republican Christian mindset.
The North Point Church itself appears a great force for good. Maybe this is truly a bleak sign of the end times as the Great Deceiver manipulates and uses a force for good(this church) to create sympathy for his cause.

I too am appalled that this church is mixing religion and politics...Ms. Obama is a very political individual and when she approves abortion and gay life, then she does not belong in any church speaking.. she is a disbarred lawyer giving advice on nutrition...she does not speak for me.
Is anyone having trouble viewing this on the gov. live steam?
