No wonder they hate her. Sarah Palin absolutely dismantled the president and his failing big government policies in her speech last night at the Reagan Ranch Center. It was a beautiful thing. Reuters reported:
Republican Sarah Palin said on Friday an explosion of government spending and debt under President Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats had put the United States on the road to ruin.
In a tribute to former President Ronald Reagan, the potential 2012 White House contender said leaders in Washington had lost sight of the values that made Reagan a Republican icon and a hero to conservatives a belief in limited government, low taxes and personal freedoms.
This is not the road to national greatness, it is the road to ruin, Palin said of the growth in government spending, budget deficits, joblessness and housing foreclosures under Obama. The federal government is spending too much, borrowing too much, growing and controlling too much, she said.
Palin said Obama had revived the era of big government, and she ridiculed the infrastructure spending and investment he outlined in his recent State of the Union speech.
The only thing these investments will get us is a bullet train to bankruptcy,
Sarah Palin was at her best last night.
She hit the nail on the head.
Run Sarah run... In a good way.
She WAS at her best, however neither CSPAN of FOX was.
CSPAN had her looking like she’d been out on the beach for a week with no sunscreen and FOX the audio sounding like it was a fireside chat on an old timey AM radio.
Kinda like what CNN did to Michele Bachman after the SOTU.
“CSPAN or FOX”
fixed it!
“Road to ruin” is putting it mildly. It’s like a drunk who has already driven the car off a cliff.
Common sense, no nonsense words that tell it like it is.
Let the new round of Palin Media attacks begin, or, maybe the state run media doesn’t want to write a lot about what road Obama is on, an where Pelosi was headed ?
Guys these kinds of graphics make my day. Nice work!
I watched the speech on C-SPAN last night and the audio problem was either with C-SPAN or bad audio from the venue. But it was curious that the lady introducing Gov. Palin—her audio was crisp before and after the speech. Hmmm.
I watched it by DVR on both Fox and C-Span. The echo chamber sound that C-Span had a few minutes into the speech did not happen of Fox. C-Span is just an arm of the DNC.
Our local liberal pathetic LA media was all over it last night..NBC 4 and CBS 2 were the WORST..their reporters did not report on the event at all, they were too busy giving their little snide remarks and their own personal opinions. I think Hannity said it best a few years ago when he said journalism is dead, its been dead here in LA for years
I don't know if it deserves ridicule--more like investigation. Charles Payne on Fox business quipped that the mafia was going to get rich on this infrastructure spending. No comment by the other panelists. Anybody notice how they busted the New York and Jersey mob? Did they arrest anybody in Chicago?
I think the left has been using the word “unsustainable” development to indicate that it can’t go on forever.
We are in the era of Unsustainable Spending.
Le’ts tar and feather them with their own lingo.!!!!!!
Yes, I’ve been learning from them as they’re experts.
It is a Spending Crisis! We need Emergency Spending Cuts?
Everything she said was right on the money.
The cadence if her speech kinds drives me nuts, but what she is saying could not have been better. It is what I have wanted to hear from a politician for years.
