DEVELOPING: A failed assassination attempt on Egypt’s vice president in recent days left two of his bodyguards dead, U.S. sources tell Fox News, though that information has yet to be confirmed on the ground in Cairo.

Such an attempt on the life of Omar Suleiman would mark an alarming turn in the uprising against the government of President Hosni Mubarak, who only recently named Suleiman as vice president in an effort to quell the unrest and possibly line up a successor.

What exactly are Mubarak’s crimes, according to the protesters? Heard a guy talking on the news, saying he should be taken to court and held accountable for his crimes... which are? Just curious... haven’t kept up with this very well.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Why with all of those MSM journalists and news teams in Cairo, why could it not have been confirmed on the ground.

Oh but I can guess:

1) The MSM is in Cairo to disseminate Obama propaganda back to America, and have no intention of reporting the news, they were too busy tryinng to make the news into what Obama wanted.

2)None of the MSM news services had a conection with the dirty rotten dictator Mubarakhe had already been made into a dictatorial momster, villified by the press, and so the MSM news teams had no news sources within the Mubarak government.

3) Obama wanted to stir up the revolutionaroes, he did not want to stir up Mubarak supporters or the army,

It was telling also that Gibbs would not even talk about it because they did not want to motiivate Mubaraks counter revolutionaries to come out and REALLY fight Obamas pseudo revolutionaries, and secondly did not want to make Obama himselfappear as if he had a hand in the assassination attempt which left two body guards dead..

Who did it? The Muslimm brotherhood, or Obamas revolutionariies? Or was it a cell of people within Mubaraks goernment ( doubtful)?
Obama is playing with fire. He spoke in a much more chastened manner on Friday than he had on Thursday.

Mubarak has won for now.Obama blinked.Mubarak did not.
