If Obama participated in fomenting these protests and the Egyptian military is in on regime change, there is no backing down. No backing down for the Egyptian military and no backing down for Obama. If Mubarack remains, the Egyptian VP will track down Obama’s conspirators and purge them -it’s likely he already has extensive files on these people being the former security chief.

They can only go forward and continue to push Mubarack. Again, no backing down.
