GWS

Global Warming Snow

That’s why the dinosaurs all had such wide feet. So they could stay atop the snow as they trudged around their much warmer world.

Really, what kind of idiots do they take us to be? They say the world is warming, that the ice is melting, that the seas are rising and when the snows and cold weather increase they say: “See, we told you so!”

As usual, listen to Rush if you want to know the truth. On Wednesday he talked about how the East Anglia environmental gurus were all telling us, back in 2000, that “snow would soon be a thing of the past... children will grow up never seeing snow..”

They forget their own lies on a daily basis and they are allowed to forget them by a compliant propagandist media.

I went to Denton, TX one time about 30 years ago. I woke on a Monday morning to go to the job I was working on and there was about six inches of snow on the ground. There must have been a thousand college kids out throwing snowballs at cars on my way.

Last year the record snow was on 2/11/10

I have never seen it be so cold for such a long period of time as we are experiencing this year.

Could we have a Texas icebowl superbowl?

Spent a good portion of the last two days moving the white fluffy global warming off my driveway in NE OK, including hiring two high school boys. We had 14” of snow with 40mph winds that made drifts in excess of 2 feet. Set new record lows the last two days with more snow predicted for this afternoon and early next week.

Your last line termed the media as “compliant” — I think the word “complicit” works better. Otherwise, dittos on your post.

I think Denton is getting it pretty good today.

I am out in Greenville and it is thick out here.

I’ve lived here all my life and I’ve never seen it this cold for such an extended period of time. This is nuts. I’m in DFW, my oldest daughter is in Houston and she said the city is in turmoil due to the cold weather and coming snow. Those poor Houstonians can’t take it.

drifts in excess of 2 feet

I would think drifts would be a lot higher than 2 feet with 14" and 40 mi/h.

You are right. Complicit is a much better word.

Here in NJ I’ve been doing sidewalk snow and ice removal periodically since the end of the year. No single snow was as big as what you just experienced but my neighbors and I have all been kept busy.

I walk to a train station to take an underground train (into the city) so I’m not affected as much as people in outlying areas and I even have time to enjoy the beauty of the snow, especially how it makes everything so quiet on normally busy streets, but I know it can be very trying for some and even, in some cases, life-threatening.

And despite the hardships and the increase in heating bills, I love to see it illustrate so graphically how much we’ve been lied to by the algore and his lying “science” buddies.

Anyway, I wish you continuing good health throughout this long winter.
