Im highly skeptical this is a state the GOPs won in every election since 1964 but their sample doesnt seem obviously skewed to me. The partisan breakdown is 48R/38D/14I; the sample in the states 2008 exit poll on election day was 42R/36D/22I. If anything, PPP skewed too heavily towards Republicans. The ideological sample is similarly in line. For PPP, its 43 percent conservative, 44 percent moderate, and 13 percent liberal. In 2008 on election day, the exit poll had it 35 percent conservative, 50 percent moderate, and 15 percent liberal. Again, PPPs numbers tilt against Obama. And their polling of hypothetical Romney/Obama and Huckabee/Obama races seems credible. Mitt leads 46/40 and Huck leads 47/41 in a state McCain won by eight points.

Who the hell are you to tell anyone to leave?
“not electable”
I think YOUR point, well taken by the way, supports MY point which I stated in a reply over the weekend; that the mentality which would elect the likes of the two individuals you cited is typical of the Scandinavians who populated the upper midwest when they arrived here away back when.
I nearly fainted today when I learned that the AG in Wisconsin displayed some backbone by announcing that WI would no longer comply with any of the Obummercare law. Probably the EXCEPTION that PROVES the rule.
My view of upper midwest scandinavians is displayed in the old Alan Ladd movie “SHANE.” If it hadn’t been for Shane the settlers would have folded and faded.
Tanking? She won the January Straw Poll, in spite of all the crap thrown at her, and now she is leading in the February Straw Poll. Tanking. In your dreams!
I haven’t seen one yet I would support.
I haven’t seen one yet I would support.
But who is electable?
I don’t know. I don’t particularly like any of the names being floated around. But it’s early. Look, she can come up and surprise us. I am just saying right now, she’s not the one. If she had stayed being Governor and kept her family out of it, I think she’d be better off today..but that’s her choice and we’ll see if it’s paid off for her.
Who exactly is "us?"
I'm a Palin supporter. Her nomination and eventual defeat of Obama will not surprise me in the least. It will surprise you because you have a bias against her supporters and because you don't think she can win over the moderates. I've read it from you in post after post.
He's a Palinista. Palinistas have special privileges here.
Didn't a guy from Arkansas, which has only six electoral votes, recently serve two terms as president?
Sarah Palin hasn't been "Quayled." In fact, Quayle "Quayled" himself. He didn't appear to have much fire in the belly for national politics following his vice presidency. If he had, he would have run for the governorship of Indiana, a post from which he could have tried to implement some of the conservative ideas he was advocating. However, after a half-hearted run for the the presidency in the early primaries in 2000, he took his hat out of the ring and faded from the scene--something Sarah Palin doesn't seem to be about to do.
Shut up already.
Whatever. It’s not healthy to support ANYBODY so blindly. Just remember that.
Blindly? So blindly as what?
What a weird assumption.
To reply to a VERY long post and make that long story short, she will lose. And yes, we should let the voters decide.
I promise, this is the last time I will respond to Sarah Palin posts.
But seriously????
And that is what I love about her. She “makes their heads explode”. Could not have said it better.
“For (Bachmann) you mean Palin, its water off a duck. Shes had their hatred and arrows since she arrived, and she keeps on truckin. Shes too well spoken for anyone to Quayle.”
There, I fixed it for you. You have more migration than illegal aliens, from Duncan Hunter, to Jim Demint, to Bachman. BTW, how’s the Buzzard Party doing these days?
“Anti-Palin creeps need to scram. Hope it’s sooner rather than later. They are so obvious in their agenda.”
Chill out choo choo. Pissant is the class clown and resident diversity representative. If we all agreed with each other 100%, it wouldn’t be very much fun. He may be a major pot-stirrer, but his history would show he is not a troll. Several months aboard doesn’t make you JimRobs Executive Vice President for banning members. Try using more humor and less emotion.
Forgot to include you in post 199. You have no idea how much it hurt to come to your defense.
