1/4” of ice on the ground north west of St Louis. Where the H3LL is Al Gore, we need his hot air. This is sure screwing up my working, 1st time in a while.

Prayers & Blessings to all FReepers, this looks like it could get bad.

St Louis metro weather reporters predicting Thunder Snow. What on earth is that???

Thor's Hammer slamming down. Someone must have gotten the Nordic Pagan Gods very upset. Suggest we should start sacrificing AGW virgins, but I do not think there are any left.

Here is a real ancient silver pendant combining the Hammer of Thor in the shape of the cross of Christ. Rather interesting.

And another ancient silver pendant of Thor's Hammer.

BTW - Thursday is named after Thor. Actually means Thunderday. Thunder is another name for Thor. So Thunder Snow is Thor's Snow. Perhaps the ancients were not quite a crazy as they look ?

Very interesting! Cool pix too. No Thors snow yet. Will probably happen tonight.

Gee, we’ve already got about 14 inches left over snow on the ground and nobody’s even worried about it. It’s been snowing all day, off and on, with more forecast for tonight & tomorrow. As my daughter, who was visiting last week from VA, said, WI (Wisconsin) doesn’t stand for wimps. She was calling and texting home every 10 minutes to find out that her kids had snow days. Nobody in WI (not for wimps) had a snow day. We just carry on.

I’m sure that the same could be said for Minnesota, North Dakota, etc.

In the good ol’ days, you could complain to a rain god or snow god.

God is in control.

From "Snopocalypse" to "Snomageddon"?

The Onion came up with "Snowlocaust" -- which is evil, but also hilarious (if you don't think about it too much).

I’m in KC and am not looking forward to tomorrow. My fear is the electricity going out. Not fun.

What kind of measurement is that - millimeter? Centimeters? Or should I expect 180 to 200 inches?

LOL I think you’re missing a decimal point.

Whew, that’s a relief. Always check the fine print. My old eyes had a hard time picking that up.

I’m sure that the same could be said for Minnesota, North Dakota, etc.

From what I've witnessed, most people in North Dakota have snowmobiles.

I decided to stay over down here across the street from my office in Woburn, so as to avoid a 10mph 45-mile trip home tonight and another 45-mile trip in tomorrow. Hopefully I won’t get iced in Wednesday night...
