Backpedal Bullstalin spew.

10 years ago the rhetoric (especially in England) was that children today would never see snowfall.

They are lying. They are playing on “our” fears. They are evil. They are unwilling to admit that they were wrong and deceptive.

"Among many factors, the amount of snow dumped is largely driven by the amount of moisture in humid air and not so much the temperature, and this seems to go against common sense. "

Then wouldn't they be called floods instead of snowstorms?

If I see one more blame these monster storms on global warming I will tell the offending writer to take a shovel and go shovel the “global warming!”

>> Michio Kaku: But physics says otherwise.

Sorry jackwagon, physics has little to do with climate voodoo.

Back in the winter of 1964-65, Syracuse, where I was then in elementary school, experienced a blizzard that shut down every school in central New York for a week. This in a town that has been dealing with heavy snowfall for hundreds of years.

The snow was more than three feet deep on level ground. I made a tunnel from our driveway to the center of the front yard; probably 20 feet. At the end of the tunnel I made a room, maybe five feet in diameter. The roof caved in the second day I worked on it.

In the winter of 1970 or ‘71, I walked to the school bus stop at -27°F.

This is nothing new. The State-Run Media is trying to exploit mass ignorance on the part of their audience.

I've lived in Central Florida for the last 18 years, and the last three winters have been the coldest that I can remember.

This year has been the coldest of all.

Every climate eventuality is due to global warming according to those who have invested in the crazy theory.

Too Hot- Global Warming

Too cold- Global Warming

Too much precipitation Global Warming

Not enough precipitation - Global Warming

Lots of Hurricanes Global Warming

Absence of Hurricanes Global Warming

So the Anthropogenic Global Warming people have the game rigged. I believe that each day that goes by, less and less people are buying into the nonsense.

Yes, but isn't it nice that all this global warming snowfall is doing negative feedback? White ground = increased reflection of solar radiation back to space = cooling.

Except - only man causes climate change. Only man can fix it.

“There is almost uniform agreement from both sides of the debate that the Earth is heating up, as carefully recorded by numerous ground stations and satellites.”

I’m not sure the dead 14 year old boy would agree?

No, no no no no no. You had your chance when you said that the warm weather was being caused by global warming. You can’t have it both ways.

Out of curiosity, I went to Hartford history, here:

http://www.wunderground.com/history/airport/KHFD/2011/1/1/CustomHistory.html?dayend=27&monthend=1&yearend=2011&req_city=NA&req_state=NA&req_statename=NA

I hope someone could check my numbers and interpretation.

I did month to date figures last year vs this year and found that this years average is 31 degrees and last year average was 37 degrees. Also, last years degree days was 34 to date in Jan while this year was 40.

Further, the average dew point last Jan was 22 and this year 15..indicating lower humidity.

Common sense says that it's the freezing cold that is behind the freaky weather. But physics says otherwise.

It's amusing to see speculative long-range weather modeling with a side of data manipulation dignified with the term "physics."

paralyzing

freaky weather
collision of cold Arctic air from Canada moving south and bumping up against
seems to go against common sense———

Such violent rhetoric to describe

a normal winter event...
