I’m coming to think that the whole Birth Certificate thing is a well-organized diversion con. Keep the focus off of what is the big stopper in plain sight.
The Big Stopper: That Obama Sr was never a US citizen, therefore Obama does not meet the “natural born citizen” requirement. The con has two parts. One: create a covering distraction that forces the argument to be one of “where Obama was born”. Two: Assert that the 14th Amendment means that since Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a native=born citizen, and that “native-born” means the same as “natural born”.
The con is really the second part. It’s a masterful con. It relies on the popular remorse over America’s history of slavery. Obama is black, and no elite is going to challenge a black man on 14th Amendment issues.
The con works because the distraction over the birth records keeps the fact that Obama Senior was never a citizen and what that means in re NBC out of the popular discussion. And that is what has happened.
It’s a risky con, but great risks mean great rewards. And so far the reward has been maximum.
The courts won’t address the definition of NBC or the facts of Obama’s eligibility. So it doesn’t even matter what the people focus on or are distracted by. Before the election there was nothing we could do about it that we weren’t already trying to do.
Now before the 2012 election we can do a lot about it, in the form of state eligibility bills, and the state eligibility bills I know of almost all incorporate a definition of NBC that will force SCOTUS to define the term and require Obama and everybody else to be judged by that definition.
And in the long run, I think his refusal to do that mundane task that everybody else has to do - present documentation - has caused a LOT of the distrust of him, and especially as people see that he DOES seem to want to undo the Constitution.
People in government offices at both state and national levels have committed crimes to cover for Obama. That’s a very, very expensive diversion and people would not do that willingly just as a diversion. There’s more to the story than what we’re seeing; of that I am absolutely convinced.
We know Obama Sr. was not a US citizen.
