Michele Bachmann poses challenge for GOP
Politico ^ | January 27,2011 | Zach Abrahamson and John Bresnahan

Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was her guest at a closed-door session on the Constitution, and her tea party rebuttal to the State of the Union exploded on the cable networks, allowing her to grab the spotlight as a standard-bearer for the conservative movement. Cable chatterers and newspapers talked just as much about Bachmann as they did about the official Republican responder, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan. And therein lies the challenge for Republicans.

For all of Speaker John Boehner’s efforts to stage-manage the opening days of the Republican House, handpick his inner circle and keep his party on message, Bachmann keeps jumping into the fray. The tea party loves her, the media promotes her, and she is a huge draw on the fundraising circuit.

I wish little Chrissy got a tingle up his leg over Sarah and Michelle than one over Obama.

Anything that causes pain to The Ruling Class is a good thing.

The party IS divided-—the grassroots Conservative base represented by the Tea Party movement on one side, and the DC-based RINO “go-along-to-get-along” leadership on the other.

But Bachmann is more than just a limelight-hungry tea partier...
This "report" is not slanted at all, no, not even a little bit.

Bachmann needs some professional media help when she gives media events. Her supporting props weren’t very good and she wasn’t looking into the Camera. All of this could have been better with a little rehearsal and some media management.

It used to be that everyone was a critic. Now everyone is a producer.

The ruling class is all about "stage managing" and "optics" and controlling who gets access to the media. This is why Palin and Bachmann enrages the ruling class: they don't have control.

Anyone who comes out against Bachmann for her SOTU response, as Politico did, is just showing off their contempt for average Americans in the Tea Party movement for all to see.

Bachmann running diversionary tactics while Sarah Palin rests and goes on a speaking tour. Then after a while of this, Sarah will again take the flak while Bachmann rests. They will play the MSM like a fiddle and it will be fun to watch. They are both very hateable by the Left, and I think its great Michele is willing to be part of this tag team and endure all the hate that would be going to Sarah but is now going to Michele instead.

Two great ladies!

As far as I am aware the 1st Amend applies also to members of Congress. If any Dems or any Reps take issue with a citizen exercising her/his right to speak freely then those Dems and those Reps are in need of remedial lessons on the meaning of the Bill of Rights.

The leadership forgot a lesson that Lyndon Johnson framed with his usual vulgar precision: Better to have them in the tent peeing out and outside the tent peeing in. Although in the case of a woman, the image does seem a bit hard to image.

In any case. the leadership team consists of a bunch of rhetorical low-ballers. So their actions have to speak very loudly or our Bloviator in chief will continue to take the spotlight. I begin to think our guys don’t like women. They don’t like Palin, they don’t like the congresswoman from Minnesota, they don’t like the governor of South Carolina. Myself, I have always liked good ole boys, but I prefer the type that chews tobacco, not the ones who wear $2000 suits and red ties.

The moldy old media is fighting their war on two fronts: First against Sarah and now against Michelle. I doubt these media insurgents are nimble enough to handle the Dynamic Duo.

RE :”On election night coverage on MSDNC, Chrissy was interviewing Michele from her campaign headquarters after her reelection and all he wanted to do was pick a fight with her. Michele wisely ignored his ‘questions’ and only talked about what she wanted to say. She even made reference to the ‘leg tingle/thrill’ when he persisted in his obnoxiousness. She made him look like the fool he is and now he wants his revenge.

I saw it. He was visibly frustrated that she wouldnt take his bait a second time. She looked hot election night:

Bachmann to Matthews on election night for those that missed it:
'People are thrilled tonight. I imagine that thrill is not quite as tingly on your leg anymore.'

Michele Bachmann Poses Challenge for GOP
Small potatoes compared to the Challenge she Poses for the Democrats.
And that's the whole point of this article and all coverage on all media stories involving Palin, Bachmann, the Tea Parties and any other subject that could be "disquieting" to Obama... they ignore the substance of the issues and go to the internal GOP horserace aspects of the story.

But Bachmann is more than just a limelight-hungry tea partier — she represents an anti-establishment tension simmering just below the surface of a unified Republican front. If Boehner and his allies don’t keep a close eye on Bachmann and her base, those divisions could flare up — especially if she loudly dissents from leadership on shaky legislation, like the impending vote on the debt ceiling.

Will this tear the Republican Party apart?!?!!?!?!? [MSM news template No. 23]

Well.... IMNSHO, Rep. Michele Bachmann could be in a fuzzy static filled screen and it all wouldn't matter, as it is the power of her IDEAS that so distinguish her, and *not* her hair or makeup or costumes or beauty marks or anything whatsoever else.

Bachmann is articulate and focused, and it is ALL about her platform and beliefs and NOT about her or how she looks or how she feels or how she emotes or how she focuses her eyes on the camera of the TEA PARTY EXPRESS who asked her to speak.

Rep. Michele Bachmass is ruthless, utterly ruthless, with remaining entirely focused on point, and it is her exquisitely defined self-discipline and humble egoless self regard which keeps HER out of the way of her MESSAGE.

She drives Mr. Chrissey "Bo-Tingles" mad because she is impervious to all his attempts to lampoon & ridicule her, she is imperturbable as he rudely interrupts her, she never remarks on his spittle, she NEVER takes any of his bait, LOLOL

Oh, Chrissy despised her LONG before election night -- just like Pat Buchanan recently remarked -- Chrissy Bo-Tingles is absolutely obsessed with Rep. Bachmann and had her on his show something like every other night for almost 2 years.

HE LOATHES REP. BACHMANN

And he is fixated upon her, and has been for years, and she is simply imperturbable whenever she is interviewed by him.

It's the best television available, I kid you not.

>>>> "I wish little Chrissy got a tingle up his leg over Sarah and Michelle than one over Obama." <<<<<

Mr. Bo-Tingles has an obvious crush on Michele, I kid you not.

I think that that's the reason that he recently sheduled his own wife to appear on his show and he interviewed her, HIS WIFE, for almost one third of the show.

Chrissy is smitten with Rep. Bachmann, totally encrushed with her... as in: Potentially Dangerous OBSESSION

Chris Matthews has been fixated on Michele Bachmann for over 2 years, and even Pat Buchanan has commented upon Mr. Bo-Tingles bizarre treatment of her.

She doesn't care. She used her air time to IGNORE him and to simply & cogently present her talking points ---- OFTEN, sometimes several times a week, LOLOLOL
