Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was her guest at a closed-door session on the Constitution, and her tea party rebuttal to the State of the Union exploded on the cable networks, allowing her to grab the spotlight as a standard-bearer for the conservative movement. Cable chatterers and newspapers talked just as much about Bachmann as they did about the official Republican responder, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan. And therein lies the challenge for Republicans.
For all of Speaker John Boehner’s efforts to stage-manage the opening days of the Republican House, handpick his inner circle and keep his party on message, Bachmann keeps jumping into the fray. The tea party loves her, the media promotes her, and she is a huge draw on the fundraising circuit.

Bachmann needs some professional media help when she gives media events. Her supporting props weren’t very good and she wasn’t looking into the Camera. All of this could have been better with a little rehearsal and some media management.

There is video of Bachmann “looking into the camera” and that link was on FR yesterday in a thread. My opinion is that Michele expressed her opinion with more passion about what she said than Ryan’s response. I watched both, however, I refused to watch the Liar. Nothing that comes out of Zero’s mouth is anything but lies, intentional fraud, and Socialism, in my political opinion.
This is the guy that weent into a tizzy because she said the Media should investigate the elected congress to determine their positions wrt America's best interests. Now his litmus test is “Do you repudiate Bachmann??”
And, We The People will not let the Old Guard pick our candidates.

However, the production value was not very good, and she ought to look into hiring the same firm in Franklin, Tennessee that Sarah Palin uses for her videos.
Bachmann needs to keep doing exactly what she’s doing, pushing the envelope, and not backing down. I’m registered independent, but if she makes a run for ‘12 I’ll definitely change over to vote in the primary.
I didn’t watch the Puke’s speech, however, I did see clips on Fox last night (with the volume off, of course). Boehner’s facial expressions were priceless. He looked like he was trying not to gag! Biden, on the other hand, looked like a sock puppet and a fool.
Bachmann used all of 6 minutes to give her position. Liar used 62, and referred to himself 55+ times.
I wonder how many times Michele Bachmann referred to HERSELF in her 6 minute presentation?
