Evans literally sounds drunk in the audio.
Was he lying then or is he lying now?
I’m listening now.
In other words, you haven’t listened to the entire podcast in which Evans admits that he did not speak with Abercrombie.
He sounds like a teenager that just got caught with an ounce of dope in his top drawer and shifting his story as it loses water.
People who have been parents of teenagers know exactly what I am talking about.
>>In other words, you havent listened to the entire podcast in which Evans admits that he did not speak with Abercrombie.<<
He does not admit anything. He “claims” something. It is up to the listener of both interviews to decide which they believe is the truth and which is a lie.
“admits” assumes a belief that the listener of the tape may not have talked to him. They even play parts of the other interview in this tape. I’m about halfway through btw.
All we can really say is that he is now claiming that his new story is the truth. Here's an example which may help illustrate the difference:
Hillary kills Vince Foster with a lead pipe. But to give herself an alibi she claims - she 'admits' she was in bed with Newt Gingrich at the time. She covers a greater crime with a lesser one. Do you see?
Assuming the lead pipe story is plausible:- would the correct headline for a story about it be:
a) "Hillary claims she was in bed with Newt at time of Foster's death".
or
b) "Hillary admits she was in bed with Newt at time of Foster's death".
?
Hope this was helpful.
Celebrity journalist Mike Evans: I never spoke to Abercrombie about Obama birth certificate
I will say this: The more I listen, the more he sounds drunk. :)
The Cancer Man got to him.
We cannot assert that this is an admission. It is a claim.
Not at all. Suggest you listen to the podcast then revise your remarks.
Uh-huh. That is his claim. You cannot say for sure that it is an admission unless you know his new version of events to be fact.
Unless you are some kind of radio-telepath you cannot - can not - assert this.
Get the hip boots out, it’s getting deeper!

Pay attention, particularly when Evans admits he didn’t personally speak with Abercrombie and will apologize to him for implying that he did.<<
Yes, he said it several times. The way he says it, I tend to believe that specific fact. I still stand by the belief that the word “admits” is subjective. That is what I was focusing on. It is a subjective word designed to lead the reader to believe that this version is “truth” and the older one was not.
And in the original interview he said he called the office and “he said”.
To be fair, that seems to be the ONLY thing here that is a point of contention. He still stands by the general story about the existence of the BC. He is basically claiming that he called the governors office and “the office said that the governor said...”, when people thought he said that he called the governors office and got on the phone with the governor and “the governor said to him directly...”.
Dude, I've admitted it. That's what the headlines about the robbery should say, right?
"Agere_Contra admits that he and A.A. Cunningham committed dazzling theft of First National Bank"
Well then...I will never believe anything Mike Evans reports as the Hollywood Insider again!...../sarc
Get his phone records.
To me Evans sounds like a Hollywood gossip reporter who is unaccustomed to anyone scrutinizing his “reports” for accuracy.
From the beginning of his second interview, I got the impression he realized he stirred up a hornets nest, and was just trying to talk his way out of it as quickly as possible.
There won’t be anything on his phone records. My guess is he got a personal visit from a man in black.
