MSNBCs Rachel Maddow called out CNN for airing the Tea Party response to the State of the Union address by Michele Bachman last night:
A national news network decided that they would give Michele Bachmann a job that her own party never did.
Maddow asked Fmr. RNC Communications Dir. Doug Heye: Isnt it a little bit weird though to have two responses run on a national news network as if they were equivalent?
This segment sent new CNN hire Piers Morgan to the Twittersphere to pronounce his disapproval:
Ms Maddow doesnt think its news when 2 different factions of Rep Party make post-SOTU speeches? http://huff.to/igZu91 #SERIOUSLY?
Sorry, but just nonsense for @maddow to say @cnn shouldnt have run Tea Party speech. Rep split is proper news, may decide next election.
Final point re @maddow fury over CNN airing Tea Party speech just weird hearing her speak like a @foxnews anchor #triangulator

this is proof that MSNBC is not interested in news. The Tea Party movement is one of the biggest things going on right now in American Politics and they don’t want to cover it??? It’s not a news channel but a propaganda channel.

MadCow. She is a Bull Dyke reporter for MSNBC. No brain in head. Just reads White House daily talking point lies.

When 12 show up to protest in favor of Obamacare its local news but thousands and thousands against is not.
Journalists are supposed to show the facts, not decide who gets heard.

Maybe Rachel should concentrate on her own failing employer?

Don't worry Maddow, they fired your mentor. Oh wait, you were talking about Fox...

A few years back. Senator Obama gave a second response to President Bush's SOTU address. Does anyone know if PMSNBC carried it?

Good point. Maddow would have no problem giving airtime to a Liberal activist like Sharpton.

With Olbermann gone she has to step up and be the new face of MSNBC, which will also put her in front of the national spotlight more.
Ina way this is a good thing because most normal sane Americans living between the two coasts will see her as the ass she is. (after they do a double-take when told that yes, the person on the screen is in fact a woman)

Isn’t it a bit inappropriate for a talking head to argue that the media’s job is to censor political speech? It is nice to see that all pretense of fairness has been abandoned.

Rachael will hopefully end up like Keith! She now has the target wrapped around her and will be the next one out the door at MSNBC. Comcast is going to look to moderate that network and return more to the middle to take on CNN.
