Time for a buycott. We need to cancel out this idiot's attempt at stifling free (and funny) speech.

HO HUM, history repeats itself.
In 1994 the National Organization of Women organized a boycott against orange juice when the Florida Citrus Commission decided to advertise on conservative Rush Limbaughs talk show.
Limbaugh supporters countered by increasing their purchases of orange juice.
The boycott was a FLAT FAILURE.
If Rush’s 20 million listeners do the same for the products of every boycott launched by people like these, the results will be the same.

Yee said he’s simply looking for an apology, which he hopes will start Limbaugh down a road toward “internal reflection” about his actions.
Well, try holding your breath, action will follow. Oh BTW how are you coming on solving CA’s budget problems? I thought so!

Add the clueless Yee to the stack of bones that the EIB juggernaut has rolled over in the past 20+ years. Rush revived AM radio when it was almost dead, and sponsors know where they can get the most bang for their buck.
To: kristinn
Rush need not worry. He doesn’t have many advertisers that sell drugs, condoms, and abortion advice.

This is the same ying-yang that was going through dumpsters looking for dirt on Sarah Palin's expenses last year.
That didn't work for him, and neither will this - it's all been tried before by better people than Leland "Pinky" Lee.

Time for a buycott. We need to cancel out this idiot's attempt at stifling free (and funny) speech. I would like a list of Rush's advertisers. I do not listen to all three hours every day so I do not know all of them. If I had a list then I could buy from even more of them.
My version of a reverse boycott.

So a state Senator purposely and financially harms a Private company?
This cannot be legal by any standard.

His staff has compiled a list of the show's sponsors and, with the help of the community groups, will begin putting pressure on them to pull their advertisements from the show. Yee also wants people to stop patronizing the show's advertisers and has launched an online petition for residents to join the boycott. I'm offended.

I am doubting that any district or precint or whatever that elected her will have a significant impact boycotting sponsors of anything that does broadcast in Hispanic.

Oh Boy. Another dirty little pervert San Fran Liberal
coorie beast, launches another “boycott”, only to find himself looking like the effete boob that he is, as his hissy fitting efforts turn out to be as worthless as the boycott on Arizona....Business increased.
