That's absurd. It's the same line of thinking that some people displayed leading up to the 2010 mid-termns. Somehow, somebody would magically appear with a copy of the allusive long form and make ALL the (R)'s look really stupid and prevent them from winning elections.

IIRC, Monica's blue dress came to light through the work of a Special Investigator and a Grand Jury or two (an actual Grand Jury, not a bunch of folks in their basement calling themselves a grand jury). It's been a while so the details are hazy.
In any case... There was actual evidence to merit investigation. The birthers have none of this. Just wilder and wilder conspiracy theories as nothing ever pans out. Just like the 9/11 truthers.

Sounds to me like a setup. There will be a big thing made of no birth certificate and then...miraculously, just before the election they will find it.

Where exactly have these laws been passed? It takes only one state to make this effective as a tool against Obummer. Yet no state has this law on the books. Are they waiting till after '12 to institute them?
Furthermore, there are countless American's who have awoken to the history of the founding era...myself included. That in itself is a major victory for the Constitution and Conservatism!
If that is true, this country is in a sad state. The founding documents are a quick read and even easier to understand. To wait till a full blown Marxist ascends to the Presidency to check into the owners manual of the country is sad. What would have happened if McLame won. Would everyone still be asleep behind the wheel as his brand of Progressivism ruined the country?

Alinsky tactics is rich. We are not doing anything here but asking for proof of which you obviously find dear to you. Three years of investigation should have unearthed something more than what we have now. That plus the fact the left seems insistent more than any group to fan the flames on this. Your radar should be way up on this. This IS a genuine Alinsky tactic. It is straight out of his book if you read it. Generate a conspiracy and marginalize the believers. It is also one of Obummers Czars Cass Sunstien's favorite concept. Would it be a suprise if the WH was pushing this to distract from other more important things like Obummers College records and any record prior to his being state Senator? They are really keeping that stuff under wraps and very quiet.
Actually, in your analogy, the “Chief” is already in the house and the birthers are standing around arguing that he should never have been let inside instead of focusing on preventing him from taking anything.

Are you at all interested to see whether POTUS ever graduated from Occidental and Columbia Universities with any grades that are worth acceptance in Harvard? Or, is it all right with you that a foreign student backed by Communists and Islamic money became POTUS IS a possibility?

What kills me is that there are people who actually believe Barry’s account of anything. This is a known pathological liar we are talking about. Not only does he lie about anything and everything—he taught a course in lying. I.e.: he taught Rules for Radicals at the U of Chicago. Alinsky’s whole approach is for radicals to lie about who they are and what they’re doing.
So you take a pathological liar, teach him, via Alinsky, to be an even better liar, and let him create his own fabled birth narrative. And there are actually people in this world who accept it on face value. No offense, but that is industrial strength stupid.
