Top GOP oversight official Rep. Darrell Issa is responding forcefully to a push by his foil on the House oversight committee to give Democrats input on which congressional subpoenas he issues, including the ability to force a committee vote on subpoenas. Issas saying the proposal would grant Democrats unprecedented new powers to obstruct oversight. In a letter, Issa denies key charges made by the committees ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings, Maryland Democrat, in a missive sent Monday, including that Issa had vowed privately to use his subpoena power more expansively and would not bring any subpoenas to a vote.

Issa should follow exactly the same rules procedures that Waxman did. Cummings is not interested in civility or he would have battled Waxman over rules.

Demoncrats are scared.
This is no time to lift the boot off their necks - don't let off the gas - keep 'em on the run.

Any DemoRat that wants input on subpoenas should be investigated by Congress for corruption.

Issa should follow exactly the same rules procedures that Waxman did. Issa should subpeona them, -their mothers, brothers, uncles, their hair dressers, and anyone who has any connection to any part of their scams. Put them all on the stand under klieg lights, make them sweat for hours and have waiting FBI vans outside to frog march every last one of them to 'club fed'.

Where was “Rep. Elijah Cummings, Maryland Democrat” when every Bush official from Cheney on down was hauled before the House Inquisition?

Issa and the House Oversight Cmte have the dhims panties in a horrid knot. This Admin must be breathing down Cumming’s neck in an attempt to ball up these subpoenas. This entire illegitimate admin has to look like one giant smorgasboard to Issa.
We’ll shortly find out if he’s got a spine.

Whatever the Dems are screaming about the most, whether it is the EPA, IRS, Energy, etc., that is what Issa should focus on.

LOL The only weakness in your plan is Eric Holder runs the FBI now. Maybe we could have Congress pass a law that would require all felon Congressmen and Senators to be sent to GITMO and to tried by military tribunal. The military can still use firing squads can’t they?
