I sure hope the term ‘Wild Teens’ doesn’t hurt their self-image. < /sarcasm>
I see so many parents who are afraid to be ‘parents’, kids raised without an idea of what either ‘good manners’ are, or an ounce of ‘personal responsibility’. American society had a way in which kids were raised, a culture that worked well for centuries - until Dr. Spock wrote his book and without having to prove or demonstrate any evidence of any sort - everything we had at our disposal as a parent was removed.
No chores, no punishment (that teaches ‘might’ makes ‘right’), no measurement of accomplishment (hurt their precious self-esteem), and no personal responsibiltiy.
While I agree with the reason to carry a handgun - I resent the idea that I would NEED to drop my handgun, for performing a civic service.
If I were King, I’d treat this in a manner that would shut crime down overnight. Criminal killed in the act of performing a criminal act (robbery, rape, burglary) the shooter would receive an award equal to the cost of what it would cost the taxpayer to imprison the Perp(s) for 2 years - tax free.
Consider, kill 2 Robbers - and get ~$200,000 tax free. I suspect that crime would reduce very quickly.
This is exactly what you get when you reject the concept of objective right and wrong (ie, liberals).
Parents who view their role as a God given duty, to pass on and teach values, do not have this problem of teaching "migh makes right", because "right" is defined outside of who has the "might" to impose it.
I’m sure Hollyweird has a movie out that will teach them good moral lessons....
Let us see....
Sex Friends..... nope
No Strings Attached.... nope
Hallway Pass......... nope
Just 3 movies about sex with no responsibilities... could be the same exact movie for all that
Hodar for President! Non-union independent contractor or Paladin (have gun will travel) BUMP!
Justice is best carried out by the intended victim against the criminal whenever the possibility presents itself.
Be prepared.
Excellent!!!!
Other methods of punishment included skinning the feet of thieves, then putting salt on them and letting goats lick off the salt. This was a way that Vlad kept his people in order and taught them that stealing would not be tolerated in his lands. No exceptions were made: he punished anyone who broke his laws, whether men or women, no matter the age, religion or social class.
Romanian folklore and literature, on the other hand, paints Vlad Țepeș as a hero. His reputation in his native country as a man who stood up to both foreign and domestic enemies gives him the virtual opposite symbolism of Stoker's vampire. In Romania he is considered one of the greatest leaders in the country's history, and was voted one of "100 Greatest Romanians" in the "Mari Români" television series aired in 2006.

I have no problem meeting force with equal force, up to and including lethal force, but your financial incentive, as proposed, could easily result in a deadly game of fraud in which innocent people are set up and killed. Better not to cloud the water with mixed motives. Let the only motive for deadly force be the desire to survive. And in any event, whether an incentive was adopted or not, there still needs to be a trial in which the guilt of the perp is proven beyond a reasonable doubt. I know the legal system right now has serious problems, but the measured use of law as the proper form of getting justice is 9/10ths of what makes us a civilization as opposed to a warlord culture.
I agree; overall it is Western Culture you reference, a product of The Enlightenment. A distillation of philosophical thought going back to the Greeks, but including Hobbes and Locke and all the folks who set the foundation for a moral and stable society that provided that greatest amount of liberty and opportunity to the greatest amount of people.
The people in the video are not a product of that culture. They are a product of their own, unique culture, and we need to respect that.
So stop hatin' on them, yo!
