That seems to defy logic.
Even if Obozo comes up with a REAL birth certificate, he will be castigated for dragging the country through a needless debate, then pulling an “April’s Fool” joke.
If anything, I think it would have been best to let sleeping dogs lie, unless he felt that the dogs were about to catch up.
Immigrants don’t have US based institutional birth certificates to produce. They have foreign based birth certificates.
Consequently, Obama can only show his Certificate of Naturalization to prove US citizenship. After Obama emigrated from Indonesia, he went through the naturalization process to become a naturalized US citizen.
Incidentally, John McCain does not have a US based institutional birth certificate, either. He’s a statutory citizen and uses a Certificate of Citizenship to prove his US Citizenship.
Obama has successfully navigated a convoluted system of proving US citizenship and evolved into a US native born person with a Certificate of Naturalization and no valid birth certificate from any US based institution.
