HI-D! Drive was very quiet and uneventful! Nice to get out
of the car after 7 1/2 hours. Well, I did stop twice but
not for long.

I'm sure you do as you don't get to see her much. When she's older she can come visit you! Can you imagine her being there for summer vacation? :) (Or, at least part of it!)
LOL...she looks to be a bit unsure of that cupcake!
She is always unsure of something new to eat. I think she
is pickier than I am...if that’s possible. LOL! She did
indeed eat nearly the whole thing, though. LOL!

It IS an awesome feeling, isn't it? I feel much the same way, and I'm one of those old guys who went there and did that.
I'm surrounded by military personnel where I live and work; and knowing what I do about them I feel much as you do. There just isn't enough a person can say or do. It's a bit amusing to see their reactions when you thank them for their service and sacrifice. And the families truly appreciate knowing that we're here to help them when they need it.

They are both very artistic! Piper loves to draw...a talent
from her mom, for sure. Her Mommy is a graphic designer...or was...
