Yes. I have never done transcription before so I apologize for mistakes. It did sound very much like “Kapiolani” but I have never been out of the airport and haven’t had a chance to hear the languages.
As I understand the guy is in Hawaii now. Y’all have to add the date and speaker’s names. I was in a bit of a hurry to get this done so supper won’t be late.
My very first job was transcribing for Casey Kasem's radio show -- the one-hour interviews of the music stars, that he'd use 30 seconds of on the air! Fun for a kid, but hard, too. The hardest one was an interview with all 5 or 6 Commodores, and I couldn't tell which one was talking when...
(It was also cool to be paid by the hour when I was a very slow typist...):)
