We lost two in Miami Thursday, the funeral is this morning (streets closed for the family) and they just heard about this shooting. 4 in Detroit, 2 shot in Washington at a WalMart. It’s open season on cops.

My students in my first period class this morning said the dead shooter in Miami is their personal HERO and that all cops deserve to die. Wonder what they'll say when they discover that next year I'm transferring schools to teach at a magnet school that is for students interested in the Criminal Justice system, to include law enforcement, corrections, legal (attorneys) and forensic science. I'll still be teaching social studies, but I'll also be teaching Criminal Justice related classes.
