PORT ORCHARD, Wash. – A shootout in front of a Walmart in Washington state left two people dead and two sheriff's deputies wounded Sunday afternoon, a sheriff's spokesman said.

Details were sketchy Sunday evening, but the sheriff’s office received a call about a suspicious person at the store in Port Orchard, Wilson said. The man ran and started shooting when three deputies tried to talk to him, he said.
The deputies, including the two men who were wounded, returned fire, Wilson said.
Witness Ray Bourge told KOMO-TV that he saw a man running through the parking lot toward nearby woods, firing his gun back toward the store.
“Right behind him there was an officer chasing him, and he began to open fire,” Bourge said.
I am waiting for the media to mention that and claim the unions were responsible for what happened..you know the media won’t mention the unions since the unions are run by a bunch of leftists
One more thing to shake my head over and wonder what the hell is going on in our society. Too many cops being shot here in the Pacific Northwest.

If this sort of thing is becoming prevalent in the NW, could be just the economy, the victim mindset of certain groups, or the gun control efforts emboldening the perps.

Have you considered that this is in large part what happens when you pretend you have “Community Treatment” for the seriously mentally ill? We have far too many nutjobs living in the community who rightly ought to be locked up in a rubber room at the very least. The Federal prison in “Escape From New York” is a fantasy, but that’s where a lot of people belong, and the whole concept is worth considering.
How about all those drugs people rationalize that affect the babies they breed?? Too many young women are putting unknown poisons in their systems long before they find out they are pregnant, and we are really just finding out the long term effects.
Do we really understand what the neonatal affect of methamphetamine is?? We know alcohol exposure in the womb has all kinds of consequences.
Do we really understand exactly what goes into making “methamphetamine”?? Since a large portion of meth these days is produced by home cookers using God knows what, there is no telling what chemicals could be affecting lots of children before they are even born.
And that’s just meth....
There are no winners, like there are no simple solutions.

Then I offered three scenarios that were possible reasons. There are, of course, multiple cultural medical, societal reasons.
