Back on October 25, 2008, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons published an article on Obama's use of neurolinguistic programming in his speeches entitled "Oratoryor hypnotic induction?" I thought it worth mentioning to you guys that I discovered today that the article in question had been scrubbed from AAPS archives. The title is still listed in the AAPS archives, but the article itself is gone.
An article entitled "An Examination of Obamas Use of Hidden Hypnosis Techniques in His Speeches" is quite similar to the one in question and as of this writing has not yet been scrubbed from the internet. Anyone interested in this subject should make a personal copy.
Whether or not a person puts stock in such thinking, I thought it worth mentioning that Obama or one of his minions apparently believed the article sufficiently damaging that it took steps to deprive the public from considering the analysis presented.
It varies. At any given time, it's exactly the percentage of the population that "Approves" or "Strongly Approves" of Obama.
Yep, I think that describes me.
“What it is is annoying. I can hardly ssssstand to listen to him because of it. Perhaps bad dental work?”
It always strikes me as the stereotypical homosexual lisp.
The techniques O’Bummer used are very typical of what he observed every time he went to church with Rev. Wright.
The techniques are the same utilized by stage hypnotists to manipulate individuals and entire audiences, They are also used in various religious settings such as revival meetings and the charismatic movement. I have visited these churches and observed the techniques in action. They induce a trance where the individual loses their ability to discern truth from non truth.
The techniques are simple.
Step one, allow the volume of your voice to go up and down. Shout and then whisper.
Step two, create an imbalance in the person's emotions. Tell a very sad story and then a happy one. This is to destabilize the person. Music serves to amplify this step.
Step three, increase the emotional destabilization by introducing extreme anger, fear, or guilt. This is why O’Bummer demonized Bush so often.
Step four, offer a way to help the person get rid of their extreme emotion. The individual will experience a profound physiological and psychological experience and in religious settings, will claim to be born again. It is a false experience as the individual surrenders their will to another person and not to a higher power.
Hitler used the same oratory hypnotic techniques.
Do you think that mass hypnosis has the same effect as cult induction (i.e. are the subjects instructed to unconsciously avoid thinking, reality, self-analysis, idol criticism, etc).
Who other than Loughner would know what he meant ... the guy is quite disturbed.
I think too many people have a pop-culture image of this where they think it is like Kreskin where it is on or off.. it is simply suggestion like marketing. The only way one can be ‘turned off’ would be to educate one to be aware of the uses- but even then, they are susceptible at that point (even to a higher degree) to those who claim they ‘reveal’ answers that the ‘sheep’ believe.
Very interesting stuff. IIRC Obama took tapes of Jeremiah Wright’s sermons with him to Hahhvahd so that he might study them in his spare time. Obviously he wasn’t studying Wright’s theology...he must have been studying Wright’s technique.

No, no... its that sort of hiss sound the ship Capt. to Engine Room “hose communicator” thingy made that geo. sorass uses to put the words in nobama’s mouth.
Besides how and WHY would anyone listen to nobama enough to hear him hissing???

That’s an interesting thread, dated back when the AAPS article was published in ‘08. Thx for the ping.
I remember watching Oprah with this lady on who would tell the audience to breathe at regular intervals. (Why would someone need commands to do what they are already doing naturally?) It was really obvious to me what was going on but the audience totally bought it.
