The leaders of the New Hampshire Republican Party have spoken, and they have given Mitt Romney the early presidential lead in the Granite State. In the first-of-its-kind straw poll of members of the New Hampshire Republican State Committee, Romney drew 35% of the total vote. Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) came in second with 11%.
The straw poll was conducted in Derry, NH and was sponsored by ABC News and WMUR-TV.
ABC News political director Amy Walter tweeted the results of the poll this afternoon:
Mitt Romney 35.14%
Ron Paul 10.51%
Tim Pawlenty 7.61%
Sarah Palin 6.88%

These "chosen" are Democrats pure and simple
who favor taxes, taxes, taxes, AND RomneyCARE
Gov. Romney, in another of his hit and runs
managed to even raise taxes on New Hampshire residents
while Gov. of Massachusetts.
How Romney is that?

They are trying to depress the Tea vote with an endless lineup of weak willed moderates.
That being said, Nobody in the northeast should be calling the shots in GOP.

The troublesome trajectory of the 2012 Primaries works against Gov. Palin in that Michele Bachmann has a geographic advantage in Iowa and of course Willard has a geographic advantage in New Hampshire.
To: Bigtigermike
The winner of the NH and Iowa primaries should NEVER be chosen as the nominee because this is the kiss of death. Conservatives will not support the primary winner of these liberal states that allow Democrats and faux “Independents” to participate.
If the GOP doesn’t know this after the McCain fiasco, they do not deserve to be a political party.

How many straws has Mitt purchased lately?

I don't believe the results of this poll, I just don't --- I think it's contrived; maybe it's the result of Romney's HARVARD-MBAs struggling to
brand him as 'A Winner!'
It's similar to the problem that plenty of Pawlenty people have trying create buzz about their potential candidate..... it's all lies, lies, and more lies.
Besideswhich, Rep. Michele Bachmann is far more popular than this insipid poll indicates.
To: Bigtigermike
Texas needs to have the first GOP primary to take the choosing of candidates out of the hands of the eastern RINOs.
