MSNBC says it's ending contract with Keith Olbermann; last broadcast of 'Countdown' tonight
Shep won’t leave until Roger can get him the job of Dean of Students at Ole Miss. He could coach the cheerleaders as a side job.
Olbermann would do it in blackface if they let him. :-)
Well, I don’t know who this benefits, since no one watches this idiot, but it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy...
Ole Miss isn’t what it was in the seventies, so Shep’s empty head would be right in line with the curricula.
I’ll take HBO for a thousand Alex.
It’s all about ratings, and the Democrat base of atheists, pinky-ring union thugs, welfare grandmothers, abortion enthusiasts, condom-throwers, the permanent minority “victim” class, Boy Scout-hating lesbians, hand-wringing college professors, Hollywood drunks, and every other variety of America-hating parasites, losers, and goofballs are not tuning in enough.
Look for Schultz to get pushed over the cliff next.
I hope your right.
I can’t imagine that they will keep the lunatics that they have been there after buying the company.
Chrissy Matthews and MadCow Maddows need to go next.
I wonder how the KOS is taking it all. Must be hard on them. He was their cheerleader and insider wasn’t he?
Now Carzy Eddie will be on .. he won;t last long if they want ratings
The tactic that MSNBC used a few months ago to try and shore up Olbermann’s ratings, the phony firing, I guess didn’t work.
So now he’s fired for real.
Olbermann: You want fries with that?

In place of Olbermann MSNBC will do a dramatic series on Obama’s birth certificate called ‘The Twilight Zone”. It’s going to be scary!
Shep is too funny to lose. I like the guy, lefty and all. I am man enough to admit it. Flame away but remember. I’m a disabled Marine with a short lifespan ahead, black guns, an attitude, 11 acres and a shovel.
Hes Olberfools replacement per WSJ.
That is amazing ....Lawernce O'Donnell might even be worse.
:(
BO supporters or not, profit is king there. Olbermann was either a losing money operation or lots of bad publicity or both
Dropping like flies. Dupnik, Olberass.....more to come.
"It's All a Right-Wing Conspiracy!!"
The ratings for the entire network are a joke! But I guess CNN real;ly had to stay out of that because their ratings are not really any better.
Early reports have Keith moving to Fox News...just kidding
Git yer jig on, buddy. It's a wrap.
...NBC executives said one term of his settlement will keep him from moving to another network for an extended period of time.
NBC executives said the move had nothing to do with the impending takeover of NBC Universal by Comcast.
Mr. Olbermann had signed a four-year contract extension in 2008 for an estimated $30 million.

According to several senior network executives, NBCs management had been close to firing Mr. Olbermann on previous occasions, most recently in November after he revealed that he had made donations to several Democratic candidates during the 2010 congressional elections...SNIP
Another one bites the dust, hey hey!
