How to Beat Obama
World Net Daily ^ | 1/20/2011 | michael master

Posted on 01/21/2011 7:58:12 AM PST by bronkburnett

The mainstream media are trying to put lipstick on the Obama pig. They are creating a self fulfilling prophesy of increasing poll numbers while trying to make the case that Obama can win in 2012 like Bill Clinton won in 1996...

The facts about 1996 do not bear out what the pundits are trying to sell us.

In 1996, votes for Clinton only increased by 700,000 to 45,628,667. ...If the Republican vote had not been split in 1992 and/or 1996 by Perot, Clinton would have lost both elections.

Compare Reagan to Clinton. Votes for Reagan actually increased from 43,267,489 in 1980 by 10 million votes (13 times more than the increase for Clinton in 1996) to 53,428,357 in 1984.

Why did Reagan do so well and Clinton did not? Clinton increased taxes and Reagan decreased taxes. Clinton tried to ram universal health care down the throats of America and Reagan decreased government programs. Clinton decreased the military percent of spending and Reagan increased it. Clinton gave America Able Danger and Reagan called the USSR an evil empire...

Look at Carter in 1980 as a more appropriate forecast for Obama. Carter lost votes, from 40,827,394 in 1976 to 34,964,583 in 1980, while the Republicans increased by almost 6 million votes. If the same 6 million votes switch from Obama to Republicans in 2012, Obama will lose the election, 52 to 47 percent.

So how can Obama be defeated? (Read the rest of the article.)

the 12 points on how to defeat Obama in this article make lots of sense.... especially Rubio for VP in 2012. Obama has caused so much damage to America that he must be stopped.

"How to Beat ZERO"

Grab him by the ears. Take a good stout hickory stick.
Beat hell out of him until he cries Uncle and changes into a conservative.
Be prepared for a whole bunch of beating. . . . .

If the unemployment rate stays at 10%, there is no way Obama will be reelected. That's why you are seeing so many on the GOP side considering getting into the race.

2012 is starting to look like 1980. An un-reelectable president (who faced a primary challenge), a big GOP field, and Democrats crossing over in the primary to vote for the most unelectable Republican (as Reagan was pegged at the time) to help the Dem nominee.

It will be interesting to see if there is a behind-the-scenes concerted effort by Democrats to make Palin the GOP nominee (as the did with Reagan in 1980). I doubt they learned their lesson from 1980.

None of this supposed momentum or anything for that matter means a hill of beans at this point. If gas prices continue to rise Obama is one and done. The economy will tank, prices will rise, and unemployment will skyrocket. That’s the elephant in the room that the media and the Ds are trying to ignore.

Let Obamma beat Obamma. What we're doing now is saving him and he knows it. Republican gains will assure his return.

It's a paradox.

the media are in overdrive which for me is hard for me to believe considering I thought they could not cover and be any more bias as they have.

There is no way this corrupt bias media would let him lose.

How to Beat Obama (in 2012)

Require the Wee Wee prove he is a natural born citizen and the idiot won't even run.

Carter is a bad example. He was white, and not worshiped by the media the way Obama is now.

There are only 2 ways Obama can lose.

#1 - The GOP magically finds a strong candidate who isn’t polarizing. Ummmm, yeah, that will happen.

#2 - The economy falls off a cliff so steep that even the State Controlled Media’s happy spin won’t convince the dolts out there who vote Obama. Probable.

Attach an amendment to some liberal kumbayah bill which requires federal candidates both encumbent and new, to be required to present the legal proof of citizenship one year prior to applicable election.

Watch the glue liquify.

None of the candidates he mentioned does much for me unless they come forward soon.Petraeus has no political record, Christie refuses to even hint he would run and in all do respect although Christie is conservative in New Jersey is he in reality? The rest are OK but not exactlly barn burners. Reagan excited the base and pulled a lot of moderates too. The only person exciting the base at the moment is Palin. I’m not sure if she can bring the moderates along. Of course if the economy stayes the same they won’t have any choice>

Mike Pence, Tim Pawlenty, David Petraeus, Chris Christie, Mitch Daniels or even Ken Cuccinelli

Totally agree with you about Christie. Do not believe he is a true conservative. He is for building the mosque in NYC and for granting amnesty to illegal aliens.
My fear is that Trump will be the 2012 Perot and run as a 3rd party candidate.

Brook, the cross-over will be to push Mittens on us, not Palin.

Also Petraeus may not have political experience (which is probably a good thing) but neither did Eisenhower. Petraeus has operational experience and leadership skills to be the Commander in Chief.

Take a close look at Pawlenty, Pence, Petraeus, and Daniels. they are all good. Can carry the midwest votes like in Ind and Ohio and Wisc. NC and VA and Col are already back.

Rubio for VP will bring Florida back to GOP and bring lots of Hispanics to GOP.

Petraeus would have to be drafted like Eisenhower was.

Someone needs to start a Petraeus for Pres PAC now. a Petraeus/Rubio ticket would do it. so would Pence or Pawlenty with Rubio as VP.
