Former Congressman Alan Grayson says that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin “instigated” the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
“When I opened my web browser yesterday, at yahoo.com, there was Sarah Palin, smiling at me,” Grayson writes. “‘Oh God,’ I said to myself, ‘what has she done now.”
Mr. Grayson, the one-term Democrat who was defeated by Rep. Daniel Webster, made the remark in an fundraising letter sent out to supporters.
He also noted Ms. Palin’s use of the term “reload,” saying the Alaska Republican used the term in his District during a campaign stop.
” I thought about this: Palin came to my district, and told her people to ‘take me out.’ Palin told people again and again, ‘don’t retreat, reload,’” Mr. Grayson said.
The Florida Democrat, who is widely expected to run for election in 2012, made the remark as Ms. Giffords is expected to leave the hospital in the coming week, doctors say.

Conservatives should be promting Alan Grayson to run for President in 2012. He would be getting a lot of support from the far left, and maybe he could pull an upset victory in NH and force BO Plenty to not run in 2012.
If he said she instigated the attack, she may have a lawsuit. Even public figures can prove damage if the libel involves an accusation of a felony.

OMG!!! That’s why convenience stores get robbed so much. Most of them have signs saying that you can RELOAD your phone card there. Someone needs to warn them!

Looks as if Alan Grayson is just continueing the medias
rants they began as soon as Gore lost the election to Bush.
Their favorites are: “Slammed” and “Blasted”,and “Crushed”
all volent inflamatory words!
I’ve been around a while (76 11/12 years)now and I cannot remember any more slanderous attacks on a potential candidate.
It is most unamerican, and a slam against the voters that have a free choice as to they chose to elect!
Well Bless his heart. At least he wears his colors bright and bold for all to see unlike a Heath Schuler who tries to fly under the radar as a “moderate” “blue dog”. I much prefer a dog who growls before he bites instead of one who wags his rear end first.
Grayson is a whining baby, angry that he’s been put back in his crib by the voters.
You know, she is a private person and can sue for libel and defamation of character.
