Police were responding to a report that a Los Angeles Unified School District police officer was wounded at a shooting near El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills.
The shooting occurred around 11:45 a.m. on the campus at Valley Circle and Burbank boulevards.
Live video footage from KTLA News showed dozens of police officers searching the area around the school and an ambulance apparently carrying the officer leaving the scene.

Brown is a lot worse than Schwarzenegger. Arnold TRIED to get the morons in this state to vote for a package of propositions that would have been helpful to the financial situation in this state because he couldn’t get one iota of cooperation from the legislature......a bunch of hard leftists elected by the same idiots who elected Gray Davis and wouldn’t agree to the propositions and also elected Jerry Brown as AG and then governor.
On another note, we got a nice look at the caliber (pardon the pun) of LAUSD administrators on KTLA's coverage. The news people were interviewing a spokesman who stated that the students were told that there was an incident on the "parameter" of the school.
Um... The correct word is "perimeter".

The kids in these urban and now, in many places, suburban jungles can’t get an education with or without the shootings because they’re just junior versions of the same savage beasts doing the shootings and they don’t want an education. Going to school is treated like an evening at a nightclub. It’s a place to make asses of themselves, find sex partners, start fights and act tough. All they do in class is cause trouble and make life a living hell for the teachers. There’s no learning going on because that’s the way the kids want it. The teachers may as well be trying to control a cage full of chimpanzees at the zoo. In some cases, the teachers aren’t much better or they’re living in fear of these savage beasts and their families. This is what forty years of leftist control of one our most precious and important institutions has wrought.
