“The Center of Excellence, to be jointly financed...”
With their cash and the cash we borrow from them?
Genius.
Creating more jobs in China.
Why does this sound ominously like some feel-good peace agreement that will ultimately hurt us more than it hurts them?
Maybe, maybe not. The company I work for is automating two of their new nuke power plants and we are hiring engineers because of it.
Probably, and then it means we give the chicoms our nuclear secrets like Bill Clinton and they give us a smile which last until they believe they will win the war..
The big question here is why are we sharing nuclear technical information with a communist country? Washington must have learned well from Al Gore.
Right
We give them our most sensitive nuc tracking software- and they learn how to defeat it
They hire some of our top managers to pass the technology to their professionals, then they build knock-off systems for all the proliferating madman nations
What’s not to love about this deal
“The big question here is why are we sharing nuclear technical information with a communist country?”
That part doesn’t surprise me at all, comrade.
Conduit through which all American technology can flow to the Chinese.
Great.
Just more tech transfer, nothing to see, move along.
Did some one just say bind over?
Resident O’Bozo - making the USA look ridiculous in the eyes of the world for exactly 2 years.
Well, Comrade, it's just one good communist sharing information with another.

Well since the Center for Excellence is in China, commuting is going to be tough. Maybe they’ll let all the Americans telecomute? ;-)
The funny thing about China is it is recommended that you do not bring a laptop or any other such device with you. Only a flash drive or something similar and when you leave China, you throw it away.
