Well ... he did give an example of hate speech. He just didn’t answer the question that was asked.
This woman has called before.
Turned off the show at this point. Certainly, Rush handled her well, but there is no need for me to waste my time listening to insanity such as this.
I do the same thing with Hannity and his never ending stream of moron callers. No need for me to hear them, don’t care what they think, don’t care if they see the light or not, screw ‘em.
Same with his television show. I don’t care what Bob Beckel thinks on any subject at all, so no point in watching.
It was too funny. She couldn’t give one example of hateful language from Rush.
Emotional logic. The woman is typical of MUCH OF PEOPLE THE WORLD.
Men and women, especially in Muslim cultures, also those committed to such “emotional” logic philosophies such as communism and Marxism.
She lives by her emotions. Her trust is in them. No logic is valid which which does not validate her feelings. She actually admitted to something like that in the call. And those feelings do not have to have any tie to reality.
Almost as funny as “Roger the Liberal” who called into KSFO this morning in SF. Of course, RtL (or “Roger the Socialist” as Brian Sussman now calls him) was railing about the “right wingers” in the White House now and how he’d just LOVE to move to China.
Hadn’t heard this bozo in years, but today the man was really off his meds. He used to be semi-lucid, but this morning he was more unhinged than Michael Moore, Bill Maher and Keith Olbermann put together!

I listened to some of her call. Why would she listen everyday? If a program bothered me as much as she claims to be bothered by Rush, I would NEVER listen! I wish I could ask her WHY she listens to his show everyday!
She called to accuse yet did so without first researching at least ONE example.
Sad thing is her friends are going to tell her how great she was, really socked it to Rush.
I heard the call.
Two points:
1)Rush read a letter from a woman who thanked him (Rush) for being the most tolerant and kind talk show host out there.
2) Rush said: ‘bye Pat,’ at the end of this show.
He was having fun with her.
He's really the best.
Has Pat contacted Bill Maher, Keith Olbelman, Chris Mathews or Ed Schulz with a similar “tone” concern?
I bet a months pay she hasn’t.
