She lives by her emotions. Her trust is in them. No logic is valid which which does not validate her feelings. She actually admitted to something like that in the call. And those feelings do not have to have any tie to reality.
Yes, that is sadly too true. One big reason that this woman hates Rush's "tone" is that he makes her uncomfortable and she can't quite identify the reason why. The real root of her grievance is the fact that logic and reason are foreign to her. Rush may as well be speaking a foreign language.
