The below pic tells it all and is right on spot. Many state constitutions were ammended after the Civil War with restrictions on gun ownership and/or carrying. Thus, local law enforcement had the leeway to arrest whoevery they so chose if observed with a gun. Translation, blacks were disarmed and whites were ignored. Man Killed in Phoenix Home Invasion

PHOENIX - A man has been killed in a Phoenix home invasion early Saturday morning.

Just after 1 a.m., Phoenix police responded to a neighborhood near North 77th Avenue and West Flower Street regarding a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found Jose Lagarda, in his 30s, dead inside the home from an apparent gunshot wound.

Lagarda’s mother and nephew were also in the home but were not hurt.

Sgt. Steve Martos said an unknown man forced his way into the home and shot the victim while inside. He then fled the neighborhood in a vehicle.

Homicide detectives do not have a suspect or vehicle description at this time. They are investigating a motive.

Using this logic, I can't imagine how even more prolific the crimes allotted to my neighbor's family name were they *cough* you know um *whispering* colored folk.

But they ARE surrounded by territorial white folk who cherish their firearms earned in honest labor. We make sure they don't wanna soil their nest!
