The inetersting thing is that the South may hold the key to defeating the Obama crowd and his leftists. DeMint and also the Texas crowd seem to have formed a solid nucleus or rally point politically.The Texans agreed to vote agaist Steele as a block, and surely that must have been very influential on other delegates.

There just wasn’t a strong Southerner in the mix though. Curious.

Considering all of the surprising pickups Republicans made in the Midwest last November, particularly in the Great Lakes states, it isn't surprising to see so many Midwesterners up for RNC chair. Something must have gone right up there, after all.
