Bob Ward is sad. Very, very sad. “Why won’t anyone listen to us any more?” he wails at the Guardian’s Komment Macht Frei.
One or two helpful commenters have tried to explain the reason. But unfortunately, as Richard North has noted, at Komment Macht Frei freedom of speech is not encouraged. See how many of their comments have been deleted.
Poor Bob isn’t the only victim of “Climate Change” apathy. Ryan Maue at Watts Up With That has found numerous further heart-rending examples of green activists who just aren’t being listened to any more.

I don't carry guns while fishing, except a .357 for dispatching sharks, a Mini-14 for repelling borders, a Benelli 12-gauge loaded with No. 2 buck if they actually get on board, a 9mm CZ if they get by that (15 rd mag), an RPG 7 for taking out pirate mother ships at 400m, and a couple of Stingers to ward off strafing MiGs from the Venezuelan and Cuban Air Forces. I removed the twin Bofors 40mm mount from my foredeck, as its weight was detrimental to the seaworthiness of my 22-footer and took up the room usually dedicated to my Yuengling Beer and sandwich cooler.
Practically defenseless, I admit. But I am not worried, nor should be you. You know, when trouble is seconds away, the cops and CG will be there in minutes, even if they have so many dead penguins and polar bears to investigate.

Very little actually happens in Kennebunkport*. I was fishing off my southern homeport, Ozona, FL. A lot happens in Ozona, where the Sheriff is no stranger.
*I take that back. Back in early '93, Mr. Gooch threw a Mr. George HW Bush out of his hardware store for dogging it in the election, after Mr. Gooch had given the campaign $25. In an unrelated retail-based incident, in 2002 Weinstein's had a power failure over the weekend and 25 lbs. of shrimp went bad. These recurring tragedies are so frequent that I am forced to rest in a warmer winter climate. I now fully understand why our POTUS must take a week off every few days.
Well, I just did business with two Mass. companies today and they both commented on the cold and dumping of snow from Monday night. I’ll bet they believed their lying eyes more than the liars in DC.

Actually I expect to see live polar bears soon considering there is still ice and snow outside from Monday’s storm that left six inches and that is the second sizable snow storm already this winter, the first was on the 26th of Dec. This is supposed to be South Carolina, what happened?
Oh, wait, never mind, I forgot, AGW causes snow.
I hope you are keeping up with this thread. These darned AGW deniers have me outnumbered.
