Bracing for a half-billion-dollar onslaught of outside GOP cash in (2012) President Barack Obama President Barack Obama’s advisers are quietly working to bring back together the major donor base that produced a record-breaking fundraising haul in his first run for president.
In the past few months, (DNC) aides have contacted several of Obama’s earliest financial backers to brainstorm about when and where to host the first money-raising events. Several big donors said they expect the Obama 2012 operation to open its doors this spring, with a string of fundraisers to generate the early cash needed to rebuild the president’s high-tech campaign operation.
But already some of Obama’s top financial backers are warning the (White House): Raising money won’t be as easy this time around.
“They are getting organized in Chicago to start a massive two-year campaign, which I believe will be successful, but has extraordinarily large challenges in some of the major states,” said Philadelphia philanthropist Peter Buttenweiser, who hosted one of the first Obama presidential fundraisers in 2007 and is in talks to organize an early one for the re-election.

I would not be surprised to see major funding for Obama come from the Middle East and the drug cartels in Mexico.

On the bright side (for him), he won’t have to dilute his funds amongst all of the 57 states. He will likely be unable to appear on the ballot for some of those states, so his cash will need to be spent in only some 40-odd states.

Because of the Republican majority in Congress, his campaign knows they will be under much more scrutiny than the last time...and with subpoena power.
He is going to have a difficult time raising the kind of money he did before.

There will be a LOT of money available to him for the run. Always a false hope to think otherwise, this fight is so far from over that the “light at the end of the tunnel” is nothing more than a pin hole sized LED at the end of a very long tunnel.
The outcome is bleak but we are not to give up the fight. Our biggest challenge is pushing aside the RINOs which are still present in large numbers and waiting in the wings wearing sheep’s clothing bleating platitudes and lies of their “conservative credentials” schmoozing the uninformed and nodding heads of sheeple.
Obama raised a billion dollars BEFORE he was POTUS. Much of it came from lefty billionaires and Arab Sheikhs.
Does anyone imagine that he won’t get even MORE from the Saudis and others after closing down the American oil and coal industries? And after saying that nuclear power would be great but then quietly blocking it?
Plus he has just thrown a trillion American taxpayer dollars down the drain. Does anyone imagine that he won’t get some of it back again from his donors? If he gets just 1% of it back, that would be maybe $10 billion.
No, he won’t lose the election for lack of money or for lack of cheating at the polls or for lack of lying press support. There will have to be an absolute landslide if he is to be stopped.

Fox’s boy Glenn Beck said he loved the speech/funeral rally. Maybe Beck was just trying to suck up to his boss Prince Al Waleed. I assume Obama gave his standard Mussolini poses when he rallied his thugs in T-shirts as he stood on top of the coffins.
