They don’t want the strongest side to look unified to the plebs. This is all for propaganda and the 2012 election.

Isn’t liberalism extremely infectious??

I’d rather not have our new Tea Party Congress critters exposed—but if they want to sit wherever they want instead of in parties, no biggie. I suspect everyone would sit in parties *anyway*.

Outlaw opposition ideas and speech.

This is getting more and more nauseating. Nothing like hypocritical and insincere commies and Marxists getting all touchy feely.

By all means, ban guns, words, phrases and above all ban politics from politics.

What I’d love to see is for the Republicans to simply stay home from the show.

why is it that they only want to get along, be bi-partisan, come together, sing kumbaya, reach across the isle and have a beer when they know they are sliding downhill?

and why is it that repubs fall for it every time?

screw them, press on to victory! press the attack!

when you have your opponent on the ropes, and your pummeling the crap out of him, you don’t go back to your corner, you knock him out and end the fight.

but noooo, the libs want to call “uncle” every time they are on the ropes, and then they sucker punch you as you go back to your corner.

The Republicans need to refuse this ruse. The Democrats no longer control every facet of the government and they now want a charade.Democrats crammed everything down America’s throat the last two years and Republicans do not need to be part of this . Stay on your side and be heard!

This is this administration’s idea of governing...pure theatrics. However, there may be an upside to this idea as apart from another repetitious snoozefest 0zer0 will deliver with clock-work precision we could get a chance to see a few interesting fist-fights.

If the opposition is disguised, we’re going to deny them a clear and longstanding way to show their displeasure with the president’s agenda, and the U.S. Supreme Court is harangued from the podium by this president, then I think we should stop the speech altogether and return to Jefferson’s preference for simply delivering a written correspondence to Congress. It’s a partisan event - the president outlines his vision, his legislative agenda. He doesn’t speak in obstuse, apolitical terms about the nation or our unity, (as if we don’t all know anyway), it’s a pep rally; any president’s greatest political stage. Either respect Congress’ and the Judiciary’s equality, or simply report to the Congress as you’re required to do Mr. chief cxecutive. This isn’t a monarchy.

Do these people forget the seperation of powers? Gibbs doesn’t decide this. Obama doesn’t decide this.

Obama will be a GUEST in the House chamber. I assume that the Speaker of the House decides if they want to revamp the seating chart....not the Kenyan.
