White House press secretary Robert Gibbs expressed tepid approval on Thursday for Sen. Mark Udalls idea that the parties sit together, not separate, during President Obamas State of the Union address on Jan. 25.
I haven't had an opportunity to talk to some folks around here on that. It's an interesting idea, Gibbs told reporters on Thursday. Maybe not having a physical aisle separate us would be a good thing as we talk about the state of our union, and that's everybody. That's not one side or the other. That's everyone.

They don’t want the strongest side to look unified to the plebs. This is all for propaganda and the 2012 election.
Like placing union members next to voters. These people are Fascists!!!!!!!!
What a difference two years makes.
They’re scared of how puny their side is going to look at the next SOTU.
Isn’t liberalism extremely infectious??
I’d rather not have our new Tea Party Congress critters exposed—but if they want to sit wherever they want instead of in parties, no biggie. I suspect everyone would sit in parties *anyway*.
Or better, what a difference an election makes.
They get in full on Brawls.
Those Mamby Pambys on the left would be getting a six pac of WuppAss delivered to them
Abolish the opposition.
Outlaw opposition ideas and speech.
Typical symbolism over substance.
By all means, ban guns, words, phrases and above all ban politics from politics.

More ‘hope and change’ BS, I guess.
why is it that they only want to get along, be bi-partisan, come together, sing kumbaya, reach across the isle and have a beer when they know they are sliding downhill?
and why is it that repubs fall for it every time?
screw them, press on to victory! press the attack!
when you have your opponent on the ropes, and your pummeling the crap out of him, you don’t go back to your corner, you knock him out and end the fight.
but noooo, the libs want to call “uncle” every time they are on the ropes, and then they sucker punch you as you go back to your corner.
of course this will just be until 2013 - then the dems will want to be divided — again........
I wasn’t aware that we were united with that trash other in citizenship of the same nation.
