Let us all pause this evening to remember the fallen and the wounded at the Fort Hood, Texas shooting on November 5th, 2009. You were never given the focus, the memorial, the care that your tragedy deserved ... but we have not forgotten you.
You are loved, and we remember your sacrifice. The proceedings in Arizona tonight remind us again of your trials. And we pray that you are now emerging triumphant from these trials with renewed strength and faith.

Hey, Barry! Explain the "greater context" of this:
Ft. Hood--13 dead, 30 wounded, Muslim gunman in contact with known terror leader and you keep your mouth shut
Tucson, Arizona--6 dead, 13 wounded, post-adolescent mental case gunman and you're all over it
Nashville, Tennessee--devastating floods severely cripple a part of the United States that didn't vote for you with not a single visit or peep out of you
Gulf oil spill--in the end not a whole lot happened compared to the rhetoric, but you made a number of visits, threatened to kick ass, and extorted $20 billion from the oil company.
The "greater context" I see is a spider's web of cynical opportunism with Shelobama hanging fat and bloated right in the middle.

If memory serves, I believe slick electioneering was how Zero got elected the first time ...
Hype the image, kill the truth. Round 2.

The dead of Fort Hood, helpless as they were, didn’t wear a political party brand or title, but gave their lives, their fortune and sacred honor for our freedom to ignore their deaths. Shame on us. The marxists are expected to favor only those who share their goals, but we, the people, never raised enough hell with the elites to bring this to the front and center, especially the rough and rowdy Texans. We should have been in the streets over this and our failure to insist on better fueled the administration’s assessment that we were not up to much of a battle on anything else.
Frankly, the lone American rancher deserved a protest from us when his murder was virtually ignored by the same powers as expeditiously as possible, especially protested by the people of Arizona. Private property will be dead where there is no push back or standards from the people.
Between the conservatives and Christians together, we are collectively starting to look like the Jews.
Thank you for posting this thread.

No, to get the nomination it was just plain cheating.
