here in NY large cap mags are grandfathered in...if they were made before the clinton mag ban they are legal to own and use....so you could conceivably get the new magazines without dates of manufacture on them(the law lapsed after 10 years)....and most cops would not know the difference...but if you got arrested for something else...or protected your life with a gun with a plus 10 round magazine made after the clinton ban, they have ways of determining when it was made and will charge you with a felony....

so much for the constitution

Glad you mentuoned cars. Morepeople die from car accidents than they do from bith accidental and intentional shotings combined.

Why don't they ban cars?

Its simple really, the left don't care if some leftist gets killed if he is a poor or unfortunated driver. THe left simply doesn't want a person to be able to blow away a leftist libtard who decides he wants whats yours inside your house, or if the wants to kill you or your family for some reason.Thats about the sum of it.EFF THEM, LOL.

I get the jest of your message. But if you had actual Glock 30 round mags, how much did they cost? A few spares for my model 23 cost me something like $69 - and at a gun show no less.

Out of curiosity, when did you get them because that price is insanely high.

I wonder about the utility of a 30 round mag as an owner of a Glock 23 with a CCW permit. It’s bulky enough without the extra long mag. But I recognize that others might disagree and who am I to argue.

With practice & extra mags Jared Loughner could have gotten off the same number of shots. Banning hi-cap mags isn’t going to make anybody a whole lot safer.

You betcha Glock sells 33-round 9mm magazines!

HERE They aren't all THAT expensive.

Some people don't like to spend time reloading at the range, I guess.

I like flush-fitting magazines, and I don't like Glocks, but it's a free country! At least it is for now.

At a gun show here in San Antonio, probably 5 years or so ago. For some reason, the 13 rounders for the 23 always seem to be high - I don’t know why unless it is low sales volume.

Good question. The guy supposedly was turned down for 65 minimum wage jobs.

I have a hundred round magazine for my military style assault rifle and I can think of a use for it. I just pray that it never becomes necessary.

It’s all about gun control and the dems will exploit this tragedy for “some reasonable gun controls”....

The money to buy the gun and mags came from the government.

Conservatives work and actually PAY taxes so it’s still our fault.

Bith shotings are bad, mmm'kay?

Actually reading your post again — most firearms manufacturers do not manufacture their own magazines, but they do sell magazines in their own packaging, and often with their own markings.
