We should be willing to defend anyone against bogus charges.

Palin is getting a raw deal with regard to this shooting, and she deserves reasoned people’s support.

She has mine on this issue, 100%.

In a way Palin is just a proxy.

Just as Bush and Reagan were proxies.

The left, and their collaborators here...just hate Conservatives. ANY conservative.

Which leads me to load praises on the conservatives (pundits, politiicians and bloggers) for NOT politicizing the other side of this coin; that Giffords was considered a "blue dog", "moderate" Democrat - a "conservative" to the far left.

Not to mention that the Federal Judge he killed was a staunch Pro-Life Republican.

I don't. Palin called it exactly what it is.

Look for more lefties worried about maintaing a single shred of their own credibility to make half-hearted attempts at condemning their kindred's attacks.

Let’s remember we are dealing with a media and political party which claimed an ad displaying the word “democrats” across the screen, emphasized the word “rat” - even though the “word” was by itself too briefly for the human eye to see!

And that was turned into a HUGE national story claiming democrats were being treated as Hitler had treated the Jews!

IOW we are dealing with absolutely brazen, shameless, troublemaking liars.

Blood libel was exceedingly accurate, not only in reference to Palin but in reference to Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, conservative talk radio, and all members of the Tea Party. The leftists in the media are committing libel against a group of peoples, that makes it blood libel.

What’s happening is that Palin has come to represent be the boogieman of unhinged grassroots conservatism liberalism.

There, fixed it for you.

In the fever swamps of childish knee-jerk leftist orthodoxy, that is, Jonathan...

Krugman seriously went too far. He is going to have to self-sensor himself like crazy now. First time he says anything faintly inflammatory he’s not going to know what hit him.

CNN’s report on Palin’s statement was a vicious little piece, saying she was “lashing out” at her critics. They showed her saying “when was it any less civil” and cut out her line about the old days when politicians had pistol duels. After about 5 seconds of Sarah’s words, they immediately launched into the new attack for her saying “blood libel”.

Screw them all, it is nothing new for them to call conservatives murderers, and now they are talking about toning down rhetoric!!

Alan hopes to continue to be tapped for the talk show circuit as an authority with some semblence of credibility.

There will be a great number of leftist commentators who will be asked to turn in their credentials by the time this mess is over.

unhinged grassroots conservatism

It doesn't exist, so I'll have to just be happy with the Tea Party.

This is correct.

But more than that, Sarah Palin is a galvanizing force.

A charismatic individual, that has already, and will continue to unite the conservative majority in a matter that threatens the destructive wet dreams of the Left.

“What’s happening is that Palin has come to represent unhinged grassroots conservatism.

No I find this statement unhinged!”

—Hey, I fully agree with you. The fact is, this claim of an “unhinged grassroots Conservative movement”...exists only in paranoid minds of the Left.
